Solar System Scope is an incredibly cool website
where you navigate the solar system. You can
explore all the planets, find out facts about
them, look at their individual layers and
simulate their orbits. You can also see a
map of the constellations and have them correspond
to your current location and direction on
Earth.
Then shape your world with this Terrain editor.
Adjust the brush, texture and material to
create something unique. And what kind of
world would it be without Snow...Box. A tool
that lets you build a snowman or really whatever
snowthing your lil heart desires. Once your
creation is complete, sit back and relax with
a 360 degree Aurora Borealis.
When it becomes daylight, ask yourself Why
is the Sky Blue? an informative explanation
as to how particles in our atmosphere affect
the color we see. For more colors drop an
MP3 into this visualizer...
then be like Neon Night Crawler with FastKat
a game where you control a spaceship through
an endless asteroid belt. Avoid running into
any of them as the ship starts to go faster
and faster however, it isn't the Fastest thing
on Earth. That honor goes to the Apollo 10
which travelled at 24,816 mph on it's return
from the Moon ... the fastest man has ever
traveled. The graph shows you other speed
records as well, but you can just set your
own with the most realistic driving simulator
ever made.

I'll just shift into another gear...no. NO!
Curse my amazingly strong upper body! Well...nothing
to do but wait for the eventual
Typocolypse...3D a game where the faster you
type, the more zombies you'll annihilate.
There are different power ups like land mines,
slow motion and a some sniping. If they're
not impressed with your words per minute,
hack them to bits with this hacker typer that
has different themes for the terminal like
Umbrella Corporation, Black Mesa or Aperture
Science. Then learn some new old words with
Lexican, a lexicon of forgotten words, so
when you meet a pettifogger you can tell them
that you're a tziganologist and watch their
confusion *kench*. *apodyopsis*
Use Llama Font to make those words stand out
even more but, instead of having to use your
words, be like DragonOme and draw it out with
this Sketch Toy.
Just be careful when drawing, you wouldn't
want any Human Error, an interactive infographic
that gives the brief history of certain events
caused by human error.
If you're feeling Wild at Heart, use a chrome
plug-in that changes every image to one of
Nicolas Cage. Or maybe you'd prefer an infinite
amount of Cages, because he is a National
Treasure.
For some reason if you get sick of looking
at Nicolas Cage, and all actors, take their
Face Off with Invisibles, where you guess
the movie using one image with the lead erased
from it.
Then check out these moire images that create
the illusion of movement, and if you need
real movement there's Launchball, a really
fun and challenging game by the Science Museum.
You have to get the ball to the goal using
a variety of different tools.
Celebrate your success with a slice of Banana
Bread, a 3D first person shooter in your web
browser. You can battle with bots or join
a match with other players online. It is a
proof of concept so it has some bugs but is
still really fun.
To find out what part of North America your
manner of speaking fits into, take the dialect
quiz. After getting the answer, gather a group
of people who speak similarly and y'all can
play Capture The Flag, a multiplayer version
of the classic game that has traps and lots
of body popping.
