trick I'm gonna show you guys how to
locate duplicate files
on your computer and we're gonna help
bring down how much space they take up
me think about it if you can't duplicate
files on a computer it's just gonna take
up more space it's that simple
fewer 500 megabyte movie in one folder
and you have been another one that's a
whole gigabyte
in that's five hundred megabytes that
don't need to be taken up
in even if it's just small things like
pictures are songs that
adds up over time so we're going to use
this program called total PC Health
he can get it at total PC health outcome
compatible with Windows 7 and Windows
Vista go ahead and download it for free
some go ahead and launch it on my
desktop and the screen should pop up for
you
and it's very helpful interface or gonna
go straight into this and hit duplicate
finder in the bottom right now basically
uses Browns furry you wanna scan and of
course you can scan a whole drive if you
want which will take longer
sums gonna scan arm all the files in my
folder called Chris which is my
documents
in all skin all those folders in there
so I hit OK
scan all subfolders I wanted to do I
want to look
everywhere in there in their work is
going to click find duplicates on the
bottom rain this program will go to work
and it might take a little might not
depending on how many items you have
being scammed so see rain here
it found 68 items and it gives you
categories here we have
images on this one right here we have
video files
and scroll down in its other file so it
tells you what the files are and of
course
images will be smaller videos really
wanna worry about in very simply you can
and hit open to view the folder and
where that I demands /url show you what
that images
I week and recycle that item which'll
deleted essentially in get rid of the
duplicate or
you can check out of stuff in hit movie
fine and you can move it to different
folders in the computer
or again you can recycle them and you
just wanna go through tiny clean things
up because the maury clean things up the
more memory you have in the faster your
computer will run
in once you don't go ahead and click the
