Make a Monthly Photo Calendar
Learn how to make a great-looking calendar from your photos in less than two minutes, using RocketLife-powered software. This quick tour shows how to add photos, choose a theme and starting month, and customize the calendar grid itself to complement your photos.
These tips apply to all of our calendar projects, including ship-to-home, print-at-home, and pick-up-at-store versions.

It's easy to print your own calendar at home.
Start by picking a calendar project...
And load some photos.
Here I've got a bunch of ski photos on my computer. I'll grab them all.
They're in.
Hit "Continue."
Now here I'll confirm those photos and choose how many months I want to print.
Notice as I increase the number of months,
the number of photos per month goes down.
Let's make about three months of calendars.
Smart Arrangementâ„¢ lays them out...
And now we can set some of the features
of the calendar, like the starting month...
Or the set of international holidays.
Or even the size of the dates on the grid.
Down in the Advanced Controls are a bunch of other cool things we'll check out later.
For now, let's continue and add a personal touch. We'll try a different theme.
In the Basics category we've got Circles,
which is kind of cool.
I like the Bright Papers theme, because
it copies the main photo to the background.
Let's move those up out of the way so we
can see the face.
And for a final touch we'll head back to
the Settings panel...
Hit those Advanced Controls that we saw before.
And here's a little designer tip:
You can grab a color that's in one of your photos and apply to the calendar.
So here we'll make the weekends and title purple
to match the clothing the skiers are wearing.
Kind of ties it all together.
Preview again....
Looks great.
And as a final check we'll do the full-screen preview so you can see it in high-res.
This is great to let you know you're on the right track and that
you're ready to print.
Here we go!
