Apple iPhone How To Create A Complex Unlock Password (Captions)

Hola YouTube this video on Apple iPhone How to Channel is on how to add huge security feature on your iPhone by ditching the old simple four digit passcode to a complex word password.
The only downside to a complex word password is this may make unlocking your phone take longer time but if you are looking for more protection it is worth it.

First off unlock your phone
Go to settings
then to the general tab
scroll down and click password lock
Click turn passcode on
enter in a temporary 4 digit passcode I use 1111 enter it twice for verification
now to make the complex password slide the simple password to off
you can now make a passcode I put youtube
you can even make a passcode with capital letters, numbers, and even symbols.
enter it again for verification
put the phone on standby
now unlock it and the unlock screen should look like this with a keyboard now instead of the digit pad
you also can still access the emergency call with the blue button in the right bottom corner
enter our youtube password and the phone is unlocked!

This is great for protection against getting your iPhone Stolen now it is way harder to unlock your phone.

downsides is typing the password wrong
using the keyword you can always make a mistake that is one thing that is bad

now put the phone on standby
unlock it again
and this is a new menu you will see
there is a keyboard you can still use the emergency call button which
in the bottom right blue button
I just enter in youtube again
see I misspelled it again
just click okay it will unlock the phone
there is a complex password for added security
