Ever looked at a PowerPoint presentation and felt embarrassed for the person who made it? Well, I have! Why? Because they look lame! They don't take the time and maybe don't have the creativity to create what I consider (and your prospects too) to be the best PowerPoint templates!

Time to change. Check out the video for a simple, short, and no-brainer to spruce up your template with some style!

Now that's what I'm talking about! Look, you can spend hours and hours trying to design your template. Why not take full advantage of the templates that are built right into Microsoft PowerPoint? It's so simple -- really it is!

Just do this when you're in PowerPoint:

Click the Design tab

Now you're looking at the list of design options for your template

Keep in mind, these are a starting point. Select a few different ones until you find one you like.

Note that when you select a template, you then have the ability to look at all the slide design options for that template. Right click on one of your slide thumbnails on the left side on the screen, then click layout. You'll see all the different slide design options for this template. Cool, huh?

So choose a template!

Once you've chosen a template, you can also change the colors of the template theme by selecting Colors on the Design tab. Scroll through the different options or make your own custom color options.

Hello, how are you?
Wanted to show you today how to make one of
the best PowerPoint templates alive. Yes and
believe it or not, you can do it with tools
that are available right inside PowerPoint.
So let’s show you, first I am gonna show
you this rocking great slide that I see all
the time, I see people who develop slides
and templates like this. This requires zero
skill, This looks terrible, and I am embarrassed every
time I see slide like this so I am gonna show
you how to avoid being embarrassed. So this
is just a simple slide, you see in almost
every presentation that describe your business.
I am gonna show you how to take this ugly
presentation slide and turn it into one of
the best PowerPoint templates alive. Real
simple, so first I am gonna show you a before
and after, check this out. This slide right
here took me five minutes to make, probably
not even five minutes. Look at the difference.
Let me show you how I did it. First thing
I did is I got rid of the about us, that’s
terrible. Think of something that has a little
bit more to a flash to it. It’s who we are,
something, come up with something that’s
different. Stop with the norm. Now look at
this, look at the about us bullets, Ok our
location number of employees, you got great
products, you got employees. Check out what
we did here. Again, all we are doing is adjusting
the terminology that brings some spice and
some benefit to the client, we have style,
well that helps right? You wanna work with
an organization that has a style. We bring
it to more then 240 clients. 100 powerful
people in our organization. How does that
help you as the client. Products you can’t
live without, again, spice it up. Spice it
up now, notice the background here. This background
is one of the standard backgrounds in PowerPoint.
Right there. Don’t be afraid to try out
these different templates. There is so many
to choose from and keep in mind too choose
one, and if you don’t like the color, change
it. As you can see here you look across the
top, you have all sorts of capabilities and
change all the different colors of each of
these different designs so, you don’t even
have to stick with the same colors, notice
how the color is changing. Beautiful. You
can create very very beautiful template this
way. Some of the best PowerPoint templates
I have ever seen. Now remember the picture,
look at this picture. Beautiful, a clipart,
ya I found this by going here, insert clipart,
search, blah blah blah…. Come on, have some
imagination. Let me show you how I found this.
Real simple.  Google, in here typed in trendy
buildings, now, notice across the top in Google,
images click this button, look at the different
images that you can choose from here. This
is just the first image under trendy buildings
I took ti, copy, at here paste. See I pasted
it right here, changed it in terms of size
and then something simple that you can do
is to add some style to your picture. These
are the difference shade effects so I just
added a glow. Notice I took the glow away
how flat it looks. Simple change added glow,
look at that, I am actually gonna give it
more glow so I am gonna giving more glow just
click down glow options and I am actually
gonna change the size of the glow and you
can see the glow even bigger. Look at that.
How easy is that so we go from this to this.
Talk about style. So again, some of the best
PowerPoint templates comes straight from PowerPoint,
don’t be afraid to use those templates.
