How to use Virtual Terminal in Proteus - Tech Shlok

Here I have explained you How to use Virtual Terminal of Proteus. We have created a null modem here.Null modem is a communication method to connect two DTEs (computer, terminal, printer etc.) directly using an RS-232 serial cable. The name stems from the historical use of the RS-232 cable to connect two teleprinter devices to modems in order to communicate with one another; null modem communication was possible by instead using RS-232 to connect the teleprinters directly to one another.
In VT we have four pins
1.RXD - Received Data
2.TXD - Transmitted Data
3.CTS - Clear To Send
4.RTS - Request To Send

Description:
Null-modem cable is basically used for communication of two RS-232 "DTE" devices with each other. To create null-modem connection between the devices you need to use two computers or two serial ports of a single computer connected with null-modem cable. The both methods described above are expensive and difficult because of many reasons. The most reliable way to create null-modem connection is using of virtual serial ports emulated by virtual serial port driver and null-modem cable.p Why do ...
