today we're going to do a quick tutorial
on how to setup your flash drive this is
actually a scandisk flash drive if you
want to protect some data that you have
on your flashdrive it will encrypt it
and allow you to access it by entering a
password
we're going to start by opening up the
website if your flashdrive doesn't
already have the software on on the
website click on download the software
select a pc or mac select pc and the
dialog box pops up we're going to save
it save it to my documents second access
it easily
you'll find the file here my documents
double-click on that you're going to see
my vaults pop-up
we're going to cancel out of this one
update right now here you select your
language
we're going to select English put in the
password that we want to use and enter
it again and then if you want to add a
hand here you can
yes I've accepted
make sure you click on this box here if
you don't want this to pop up again and
again click on the box if you want us to
show up again we're going to add a file
to our vaults just to test it out and
i'll select a picture now we're going to
open up the vaults look at it inside the
ball is a subfolder my fault and vials
and if you'll notice it's called zero
and the files called one but i'm going
to try to look at the properties here
you look at the properties again it's
called zero with no file extension if we
try to open this file straight from the
subfolder is not going to recognize it
test it out and i'll select the picture
we're going to go back and open up the
file and try to use the password to open
picture council and here we're going to
enter password
and there's our picture thanks for
