welcome to work smart TV I am Martin
in this video I'm going to show you how
to pick what you want to use for decimal
separation . or , this is obviously
differs in countries around the world
yeah some countries use the point some
countries use
come on and it doesn't really matter as
long as you know what you're doing and
Excel gets what you're doing because
obviously if you don't it's you're going
to be wrong effector 100 or even 1,000
now keep in mind dead if you if you're
working on the computer
that's
suitable for the country you're using it
in and there's a default setting for
this
it's determined in Windows not in excel
but if you want to override it
ok you go to file and go to options and
then you have language options here but
which usually in Windows programs
laying the language also means that the
customary ways of representing dates
currency etc comes along with it
not in this case we go to advanced and
here you have a this thousand tons of
options that they can't even begin to
them to understand even and there's here
there's a option
it's a huge system separators it will
use a default decimal and thousands
separator that's in and
is defined by Windows but if you want to
change it you can just turn this off
you could say okay I want to . as a
decimal separator or a , you can just
delete it put it on mine and delete this
and put a pointing quickly kind of
changes back again and you're done
all right i hope you found this video
