today I'm going to show you how to flash
recovery images are using this app
called flashy fight this app actually
works on most Android devices that that
use IMG recovery image
this can be useful because sometimes
like TWRP let's say sometimes they don't
have a flashable zip files and then you
have to go to the ex EA download it and
then it's you know it's a lot of process
but with this one you can go ahead and
download the IMG file straight to your
phone flash it straight from your phone
are the requirement is that you will
need to have root obviously is for root
users
I'm so it is free app just go to play
store and download a flashy Phi here and
also download the IMG recovery image for
your phone
I've got the HTC one m7 here so i'm
going to upgrade to the latest work
recovery
I'm you can also do this for our phones
like nexus for our note 2 no 3 all those
different phones some phones may not
work so be aware if you know for phone
older phones like galaxy s2 will not
work because the recovery is part of the
colonel
but most of the newer phones that should
work so let me go ahead and show you how
to do this simply open the app make sure
your hips
except and make sure hit allow for super
user or supersu alright pretty simple to
do there and you can also flash
different images like boot images are
you can't flash rom files you can use
rom manager for that or good manager
if you're using Torp all right it says
that i don't have full right here let me
go ahead and just close it out and open
it up just probably just something wrong
with it there we go
all right now it's working so i'm going
to go ahead and flash recovery image
oh it does work for is it files to set
well you can also simply download here
twerps idomeneo or philz recovery if you
want to for your phone that will
download the latest version or you can
also off choose your own file for
example the reason why i'm using this
app is because for the latest cm11 for
these this phone right here
you do need the the unofficial Torp not
the regular tour so i'm going to go
ahead and choose a file
i'm going to go ahead and go to my file
manager here and i'm going to go ahead
and find my recovery image i'm going to
go ahead and install the Torp a 2.7 .
1.0 a.m. 7 . IMG file there we go
and go ahead and say yep and that will
flash it
I'm done pretty much you can go ahead
and flash more if you want to and that's
it and let me go ahead and show you it
is working
let me go into power off every phone has
a different way of getting into recovery
you can also use apps like rom manager
or a new manager to go into recovery but
let me go ahead and go into recovery and
show you that i have the latest warp
install down volume down and also the
power button
all right this is great because you
don't have to use fastboot you don't
need a computer you can do it straight
on your phone and let me go to recover
here and also it won't work off for
older HTC phones like HTC One X unless
you have unlocked bootloader or you have
s-off let me go ahead and hit install
here
oh there we go so I mentor 2.7 . 1.08 so
it flashed the Torp recovery that I want
it and I'm done anyway thanks guys for
