hey everybody this is Andrew here from
my download blog today we'll take a look
at the i fix it tool set a few people
had asking about this when i had
mentioned in a previous video so here we
go through the whole tool kit where you
kind of get the different options you
have so if you are a do-it-yourselfer a
tinker you want to build your pcs or
even just fix iphones and ipads or other
mobile devices
this is a great k pretty much the best
case that you can get if you're doing a
lot of that kind of work so i do have
the middle of the road option you can
get just the screwdriver by itself you
can get this kid here that i'm going to
show you and there's a Newark it that's
all it bigger and a little bit more
expensive only top left-hand side and
this all is a little bit variable
I have a little bit of an older set so
the new ones are pretty similar but not
exactly the same the actually tweezers
and pincers all location a lot nicer
than what i have here but there are a
variety of plastic spiders as well as a
four-piece tweezer set this is all going
really useful for any wire small screws
getting into places your fingers can't
reach working on a computer or maybe an
iphone lower on that left-hand side is
this little pocket inside you will find
an anti-static wristband
so anytime you're working you really
don't want to have it some static charge
going through and ruining the device
that you're working on so this is a good
way to keep yourself around it on the
right hand side we have another set
this is also a little bit different in
some of the newer models so they're just
a spudger stay here so several different
spiders they're different thicknesses
and they are all slightly bending summer
more bendy than others and a lot of them
have stuff on both sides so this one
here is slightly curved you got a point
and on one side and a rounded and on the
other
aside from these spiders the newark it
also includes a little knife
so it's easy to remove some of that he's
over and
cut any wires anything that you have to
do so that's also included in the new
ver sets aside from all the metal
sculptures
you do have a plastic spoon sugar in
here as well so you can really do
anything if you need to really worry
about scratching anything this is really
good if you don't want to scratch
something then here in the middle is the
really most part of this is my favorite
part actually the whole thing and that's
the screwdriver set is a 50 for peace
and you can buy this individually so if
you don't really need anything else you
just want a really cool screwdriver set
you can pick this up but it covers even
all the really obscure one so it's got
that triangle screw in there it has a
bunch of the ones for like Apple
security on like those pentalobe ones
it's got just a bunch of different i had
in here for pretty much any situation
also the very tiniest of bits you have
an extender on here
there's also this movable or bendable
part is really great when you're trying
to get around corners and you can
actually twist the screw driver and
that's still going to turn even if it's
at a 90 degree angle so very useful if
you have something really obscured hard
to reach location it is magnetized and
that ball bearing swivel top is all
really useful as a kind of custom made
just for i fix it if you want you can
buy this by itself it's around $35 if
you want the whole tool kit so that is
going to be this screwdriver set and
everything in that role
that's going to be I believe $65 then
there's the new 2016 version which is
even bigger has a 64 piece driver set
that's going to come in at eighty-nine
dollars and of course i'll put the links
