How to Convert a Webpage into PDF (Using Adobe Acrobat)
http://yan411.com/feedback/ - I'd love to get your feedback on how I can improve my videos, as well as suggestions for future video topics! :-)
I have had several occurrences where I needed to convert a web page to PDF. It involved clients needing some quick marketing collateral on the fly, so what we did was took their homepage and services page, and converted those into PDFs and put them together. You would need Adobe Acrobat Pro in order to do this. However, if you do not have it, they do offer a 30 day software trial of Adobe Acrobat Pro, which I've included a download link below.

>>YAN HUANG: So how do you convert a web page
into a PDF, and why would you want to do it?
Well, the reason why I did it is I had a couple
of clients, and
they needed some immediate marketing collateral.
It was pushed really last minute, and we didn’t
have time for anything.
If that’s the case for you -- you just need
something immediate, like a PDF to send someone,
where you just need it -- a couple of cool
shortcuts, I guess,
as far as generating some quick marketing
collateral is...
you can take an old email newsletter, you
can take maybe a blog entry or even
your Services page or About page on your website.
You can convert that into PDF.
Now, you don’t want to print to PDF, because
if you do that, you lose all the links, and
usually the quality is pretty poor.
So what you want to do to convert a web page
to PDF is first of all,
you need to download Adobe Acrobat.
You can download a free trial from the website.
It’s a free trial -- I think it’s 30 days.
Go ahead and download and install that.
What you want to do is go to the File menu.
You can click on Create, and then click on
Create from Web Page, then just enter in
the web page URL or the URL to whatever.
You know, maybe it could be an old newsletter
campaign or blog entry.
Go ahead and paste the URL in there.
You can also adjust the settings, so if you
actually want it to be maybe a different paper
size,
adjust the margins, you can go ahead and do
that.
Click on Create.
It’ll basically go through this process,
download all of the files and images for you
-- then
lo and behold, you have your...instant marketing
collateral!
From there, you can go ahead and save it.
You can email as well as print it.
