Ivan Nikusev is a young Macedonian DJ and producer. He was born in 1985 and he has been involved in electronic music since the age of twelve.

From that moment on music has been his life and he is always searching for new tracks from great artists. His style coul dbest be classified as Progressive 'melodic' House, with deep, dark, tribal and trancy elements with Ethno elements and vocals mixed in from time to time. Ivan has built up an impressive production portfolio since 2008 working with labels such as Mistique Music, Deepsessions Recordings, PurpleCat Digital, Panda Recordings, Outta Limits, ORA Recordings, CLS Music, Mistique Digital. However from 2010 onward he has signed on with Mistique Music exclusively! For the Strings Of Life release Ivan has teamed up with with regular studio partner Branko Stojanovski also konow as Wav-E. Branko is a Macedonian producer who lives in Germany. At the age of ten he started to play piano and since that time has been fully immersed in electronic music. His interests in terms of genres is very broad, House, Chill Out, Trance, Techno, Breakbeat, D&B and even some soundtrack style stuff is where Branko draws his influences.

These have proven to be a very prolific pair in the studio with 2 singles and 2 remixes already out this year. Strings Of Life is chunjy yet driving progressive trancer with you guessing it great strings and anthemic key changes that most trance floors will eat up. Eryo mix is really amazing, the mood created in the breakdown is what most trance producers aspire to achieve but rarely do. Clean, serene blissed out, emotion evoking atmosphere that will certainly make for an amazing moment on the dancefloor and as trancier as it is it still is not cheesy. There is no massive over the top buildup and huge drumroll that you might expect. It's really a classy, refined trance mix from Eryo. Ozgur Ozkan uses the melodic elements to great effect and provides a solid breaks rework. Chris Drifter's mix is really unique as it does make use of alot of the melodic parts but overall the track has a very tech house feel to it which is a testiment to Chris' production ability cause with those parts a progressive trance mix would certainly be the easiest route to take. Overall another great package from Mistique and a really standout mix from Eryo!
