Saving Google Calendar as a PDF Tutorial

This short tutorial explains how to save a Google Calendar to a PDF file.

hello today we are going to take a look
at how to create a PDF using your google
calendar the first thing that we need to
do is make sure that we are viewing the
calendar that we want to make a PDF of
we can be just one or multiple calendars
right now you'll see that only one of my
calendars has a color next to it that
means this is the only calendar that I'm
looking at it could add additional
calendars as well for example i can go
down to my other calendars and also add
in my personal calendar so that i can
see both my work and my personal events
altogether
however for this demonstration we're
only going to take a look at this one
calendar
the second thing i need to double check
is to make sure what my view is and
because i want to see have a PDF showing
the entire month's worth of activities
or events i want to make sure that i am
in the month view I can choose day or
week as well whatever view i choose that
is what will show up on my PDF now i'm
going to click the more button and then
i'm going to click print is going to
give me a couple of options first it
opens up a screen with my calendar print
preview i want to double-check my print
range right now it's showing june first
through July fifth that means if I had
any event scheduled between july first
in July fifth they would also show on my
PDF i only want to show through june
thirtieth so i can click on the date and
go down to my calendar and click on june
thirtieth I can also choose three months
or six months worth of calendars next I
want to take a look at my font size
right now it's normal
as you can see the text is a little bit
difficult to read because it's so small
now if I have a lot of events i would
want it this small or even maybe smaller
so that i can see all of the events
however I only have a few events so i'm
going to choose biggest so that makes my
phone a little bit larger and I can
actually
see what my events are going to leave
auto for orientation and I do not want
to show the events that i have declined
now i have three choices print save as
or cancel i'm going to choose save as
will automatically save and download a
PDF file to my computer into my
downloads folder the fastest and easiest
way for me to open that is by clicking
on the small arrow to the right of the
downloaded file I'm going to click on it
and it gives me several options I can
open the file immediately i can always
open files of this type open with the
SystemVue are showing finder what I want
to do is just show it in my Finder
window and now it's open my finder i'm
going to minimize the other windows so
that just my Finder window is open and
it's showing my downloads folder my
calendar PDF is highlighted and I want
to rename it so i click on the name once
and you'll see it's already highlighted
the name but not . PDF because i don't
want to change the ending of the
filename so i'm going to type in Emma
jun 2014 work calendar so that I know
what calendar i'm looking at now I can
move this calendar anywhere I want
so i can actually click and drag it to
my desktop or I can click and drag it to
one of the folders showing on the
sidebar in my Finder window I can even
move it to my google Drive if I would
like but right now I just want to move
it to my desktop so i'm going to click
there and now i want to open this PDF i
double click on it and now my PDF file
is open and at this point i can save it
i can save it as a different file i can
save it to a different location
I can also email that calendar to the
people that I want to share it with
or i can upload it to a sheer dry that
my school district has or to an external
drive make that I have available to
and that is how you save your calendar
