Lucky Penny Thoughts: We have done a lot of different chocolate and molding making sets. This one worked great and it lets kids do their own thing without the worries of melting chocolate on a stove or in a microwave. You could also use the chocolate melter like a fondue put, so you can just melt the chocolate and enjoy different kinds of treats.

enjoy hey its lucky penny shop and i am
going to do the faction angels my
chocolate boutique
it says make chocolate candies and dip
treats
it's a 200 piece set so I can't wait to
get all the box and show you all the
pieces but it says right here mom you
control the ingredients
use your favorite chocolate caramel
candy metal products chocolate and candy
not included so i have purchased a bunch
of stuff ages 6 plus kind of see that
box there let me a zoom in on the side
panel now I'm not dressed up like her
ok but she has a cool outfit on and I
guess when you want to get into the role
of owning your own chocolate shop
that's the way to do it there's the side
and here is the back and you can kind of
see all this stuff comes with it the
moles the stickers the foils the boxes
the melting pot let's see includes
mounting bowl mixing spoon decorating
tool and the list goes on
55 molds 25 foil candy wrappers
at least I like to open it up in front
of you know I might have to check back
in see what we have here but let's cut
that tape that experience of opening
something for the first time for me is
exciting
okay so look at this all lifted up here
and check inside this side hand the
molds
all right and then some supplies
my instruction sheet nice and big and
colorful and then it looks like the
melting pot I'm going to get that out
now we had a few people request is so
we're doing and i think that's it
sometimes I do leave things in the boxes
and find them later so i'll report back
if there was more in there
so the melting pot and it's going to
take some batteries let's see
six double-a so I got to get those that
go down there and then the instruction
and then there's three mold sets and it
says warning so i don't know what those
are just the foil sheets and more foil
sheets and mixing stuff
the little cups all right you know what
I got to do next
I gotta take it all wash it all get
ready get set up get my supplies in here
and we're gonna make some chocolate
treat so here's that sheet of stickers
to sheetz pretty cool colourful
colourful that is now go over all the
stuff we have here the candy melts we
have off to the side and we even have
some other treats to do because you can
use this as a fondue pot and you can dip
treats in there and make treats from it
pretty cool let's get ready all right
gonna set it all up and let's make some
chocolate treats
ok all set to go everything's washed it
needed to be washed and I have it all
laid out for you there's the decorating
side and in the making sites on the
decorating side there's a couple doilies
there is your aluminum foil sheets that
you're going to use these clear sheets
wrapped chocolate in there just clear
sheets and you can wrap your stuff real
nice for decorating kind of clearing out
all the decorating stuff here with the
decorating stickers that you can put on
top of your chocolate and goes that way
ok that's for the wrapping
then you've got some cups to pour
chocolate in and then a couple little
gift boxes and I made one of them anyway
just uh well I have to see hold that
over and lock it in
you've got a cute little box will do
that so let's get to the hardware part
of it
the three moles
all washed so there they are so we're
going to fill those all up with
chocolate
put that over there and then my two
tools and this little brush
ok all set to go and then the main unit
I left the bottom off so I can show you
it's two pieces actually there plus the
lid
plus the bolt you know that all works
there so this is the heating part here
the switch is on the side it off with
the green light
so you just let me just finish
assembling this and then put the screw
back in and then we'll do what I'll do
next is I'll get this thing heating and
i'll go over all the stuff we're going
to use okay that they're going to turn
it on so that's in the on position but
my little Bowl a little lid and let that
heat up off to the side
ok so far as chocolates we have three
we have a green melt a red melt and the
vanilla but now they're all vanilla
flavored and then we also have chocolate
this is candy wafers
they were 299 cards and party at all
different cool colors and in regards to
the different things we have yeah we're
going to use rold gold pretzels pretzel
ride
we had some scooby Doo graham crackers
and we have some keibler simply made
cookies are for dipping it meeting and
we have a whole pack of the assorted
sugar wafers
I have them all nicely that's what we're
going to use this is going to be four
part of the decorating and then I also
have some sprinkles some stars and then
some pearls and their sugar and i'm
going to eat one right now listen
tasty what I have to do is let this heat
up but in the process let's go over a
few things in the instructions
now what did say
for all your chocolate . us out there
who love doing this kind of stuff is
oh ok you can add it says we made a
conscious decision to engineer the
melting pot so they would not hate the
chocolate to level that could harm a
child
now the bottom metal plate would get hot
so if there's going to be super vision
just make sure that that too p section
doesn't come apart and then it also says
you can supplement the melting of the
chocolate because that's only gonna work
so fast
it's kind of like you want to just leave
your child there to experiment great but
if you want to get involved and do a lot
of stuff at one time
you can use a microwave or melt the
chocolate another way so we're actually
going to do that I've got these full
setup like this all-male these in the
microwave and then we'll use the
chocolate ones in that set so let me get
a few more things situated here and
we'll get going
melting the chocolate ok everything
cleared office now just focusing on
starting the melting process so it is
warm now and it's been sitting there for
a little bit
let me take the lid off it says about a
half a cup at time at a time and small
pieces original have to run with our
melts will do about that much and says
just let it sit
which will do and while that's happening
I'm going to get some other chocolates
ready and we'll check back and keep
mixing this see how long it takes
ok so it's been sitting for about a
minute minute and a half gonna take the
lid off and do some mixing and see it's
already starting to melt in there see
that in there
not bad so we're going to keep checking
back in i do have a timer set up to the
side so we'll see how long this takes
and we'll just keep going
okay kinda go along with the process
ok so they were going about three and a
half
- maybe four minutes and little better
let me just get them all a little
flatter so that see if that helps
get them all touching the bottom how's
that ok when we were on a little bit
so like I said about four minutes now so
we'll see we'll check back
alright thanks little dude all right i'm
checking back in now
gonna do some more mixing and see
definitely getting much softer now so it
looks like we're really close as you can
see i have been timing this here
red 542 so not too long
now i do have the other chocolates i've
been getting those reading the microwave
so we can make a lot of chocolates you
know one time and eat right
so I'm going to keep going here let's go
a little longer but I think we're really
close now so i'll check back
ok been just over seven minutes and I
think we're good to go
a few little chunks in there but overall
I think we're ready to start moving this
in two molds probably could have started
earlier - because you know just get the
soft stuff so let me set that there that
here with my little out of the way move
my instructions now
step 2 or step let's put it in the bowl
that's called that select multi-use
which with your first batch or color of
melted chocolate use a spoon to fill
compartment do not overfill tamo jelly
to remove any air bubbles that fully
cool and harden times will vary flip
over and gently push ups oh and repeat
repeat repeat repeat so here's our
models now I have the green which is
melted here and i have some red
we're going to really do it up nice here
and some white so I'm just going to fill
maybe half for some on each tray I
didn't say anything about prepping the
tray or spring anything on there so
we're just gonna follow their
instructions and see what happens
so it says spoon it into your mold so
you get my chocolate and let's put it in
this piece one here
let's do this
okay that's better put some more in
there and I might have to you know add
more chocolate in there and I can
definitely do that
nice
all right I beat my first shape with
chocolate i mean actually do you let me
do one more with the chocolate use that
up and then what I'll do is I'll add
more chocolate to that for the dipping
part because you can dip and eat the
butterfly will do as many as i can with
all the chocolate that I melted so that
i get a lot of cool examples decorating
okay there you go
so they push that off to the side
let me get in some green huh green looks
really cool
put something in this one
perfect green in this one
so this is just to put your part of the
process
just keep going filling up as many as
you want all right
and a couple greens still have to do
some jiggling
let's get some red in here so hard
let's do our heart and read like a good
heart and read all the pretty colors
there
let's get some light in here but i think
i'm going to do is just keep going going
going to fill as much as possible I
could have done the lips and red - let's
do this middle one in the white
yeah
ok that's a nice Phil got all the colors
there
let me just do some jiggling they do
drop now so this one leveled out this
one pretty much leveled out
I told i'm going to do next I'm going to
start feeling some more of the moles and
i'll check back here in there and show
you as I complete more sections
ok I've been feeling right here i got to
trace full did the same thing with all
the other colors just slowly filled him
up got on the edges sometimes but you
know that's the thing is there for you
just wipe it off and give it a taste
I remember one of the options in the
back was it says make dip to treats or
fun do so that means i could eat it
right out of there
or i could make treats so don't take my
chocolate which i have over here and now
I added more to the pot so I've melted
more and then I'm going to take some of
these plastic sheets that they included
i'm going to put some treats on there so
that i can keep my countertop clean
i'm going to start off with this
scooby-doo graham cracker
I'm just going to dip probably half and
then i'll just start making a little
treats them back there
see my scooby-doo snake I'll tell you
what let's take some of my sprinkles and
sprinkle them right on it
pretty fun and then we do a cookie and
just go all out on this cookie
they show have some kind of follow their
lead
dip the cookie put it on my plastic
sheet in the back
let's see if we can show you that and
then I have these maybe i'll use these
pearl beads
remember 81 earlier i get your close-ups
of all these later
pretty cool i'm liking how it's working
it's nice to have a little contain unit
like this
nice you don't have to be by a stove you
can just kind of do it right there on
the table
so here let's do this here pencil is
going to be a little harder so then
decorate my pretzel
there we go so let me just put on my
stars on that will bring my stars in
here getting kind of crowded
I still have to make the chocolate
treats and put those together since see
all the shapes i have so let's just put
that on the plastic nice so I got three
here let me do this let me get another
color would do something here with two
colors on one case i move those other
things out of the way can be a little
more room here is getting crowded with
all the cool treats
I'm going to take one of these pink
wafers now and just cover the top and
the sides
these are brittle
ok I'm in deep concentration here cool
in that and maybe i'll just take a
little bit of chocolate
the reason some on there i'll show you
these little close up later
see that and then we get another sheet
here was a bunch of these rappers so i'm
just going to use it for that
leave it there and then maybe I'm going
to throw a few little sprinkles on top
so what I have to do now
let me try one of these I wanted to try
a Scooby Snacks i'm going to try one
right out of the fine do pot look and
eat it
I never had one of those and i think im
gonna have another one
all this work it's time to eat something
alright so i think next get it all
cleaned up get the chocolates out of the
molds will do some final decorating
okay I'm all set back on might raise now
got a bunch of things made and I'm gonna
just come in now and top off the last of
my little molds so it was just a matter
of being very careful with a little bit
any small ones just doing one of the
time and you're going to make a mess so
don't worry about it
you're gonna go over the edges don't
worry about it
just eat it like that when see no big
deal
we got three little tiny dots here so
I'm gonna be harder to fill with my
spoon to do it anyway and then that's a
deeper one
I still have to shake this tray and well
kind of go over all the treats we have
so far
yes I filled every single one
and the last one to go
they just found my best you know
nicely level out let me know readjust
here show you everything I have on the
table
so here we go i'm all set the chocolate
is hard real nice
I made a few other creations which I
have not shown you yet I use the peanut
butter type cup so we'll take a few of
those out and show you what that looks
like
so first how about we take a couple of
the molds here let me get my bowl
now remember i didn't actually have to
spray anything in the mold so let's see
how they come out they just kind of said
tip it over and they should pop out
look at that it does and that one says
love
let me get a few more out here you rock
they come out really nice and then BFF
best friend forever and let's get this
some good run a room
let's get this out here the figure 1c
pop right out of the mold and then I
think it was a couple
well you will use a couple eyes on that
one of those out there you go
I have to clean up the edges on those
now there are a lot of lights on here so
the chocolate does get soft real fast in
here so i gotta move quick so let me
move that one off to the side
we take out some of these bigger ones so
nice everything came out just pop right
out
which is great I was a little worried in
the past I've had issues with stuff like
that and then we'll take a few more out
because we want to start putting some
things together
so here's this tray that's what it looks
like on that side pretty cool
one just fell out on its own let me pop
a few of those out
we got a peace sign there's a lot of
decorating to do here but I can't do too
much here
the lips heart star piece I didn't come
out a piece of fruit
don't know what that is don't know what
that is
and now we've got quite a few things
that all the way
now let me bring in
one thing here this is my chocolate
covered pretzel
so I'm actually going to cover this in
the plastic like this
my chocolate and then I'm going to take
another product that we've used before
the tape feet from the same company
cool all that work out because it works
great and I'm going to take it
I'm going to wrap it around the base
here and i'll probably take a piece of
curling ribbon i got some purple here
finish that one up so that's one treat I
can give away you go
other net quick tip when you're curling
using curling ribbon
you always put your scissors underneath
the curl parts of you curl in this
direction you're going to get a nice
curl on your curling ribbon
now if you go down the top part you're
not going to get the same kind of curl
kind of flattens it up
just follow up there so there is my
first treat their that's good
let me show you my cookie that came out
great
I always want to take a bite of that you
know what i think i am good and then
this is the wafer pretty neat
now I could wrap that up and something
but going to leave it back here for now
so you can see everything and he was my
scooby treat all right you've seen
everything now let's get in here because
they tell you you can actually wrap
something
let me see if I want to just wrap this
set of lips
so now i have one set and I could take a
sticker now and put something on it
let's see

I made a treat let me do a few more of
those
I'll tell you what let me take one of
these out like a peanut butter cup with
all chocolate now
mm let me do it this way
wrap it now I have a nice little cup and
we're like this one here a hundred
percent original
yes need by LPS date how's that
now we also have these neat little
doilies here so I could just take let's
say I have a the red one here
it's sticking that's ok that's it right
on the center of my doily
now if you want to combine two
chocolates together they said just take
another some of your melted chocolate
put it down there is like glue and you
can stack another one on top
here I'll show you how take the lid off
of this my spoon get a little chocolate
and i'm going to take this one here get
a little glue
ok and then I'm going to take the BFF
and stick that right on top of a little
warm in here so that one
I could just set off to the side if I
want to glue the little panda eyes on
I can do the same thing and I would just
like boom right there
I think you're getting the idea of me up
we wrap another one here I think I've
shown you everything that we made
let me get my little box out see these
little boxes so now I could take my
little peanut butter cup
but it's chocolate we'll just think make
him think it's peanut butter
let's do it
look there
there you go how's that
and then what I'll do is only bring the
camera in a little bit tighter here
there's so much more decorating can do
with all this stuff
you have all these neat little stickers
there
see that's my little happy birthday box
for somebody and I could even sticker
this if I wanted to put a stick around
there that says made with love
ok so how that will treat which like to
get that I think that's pretty good
let me try and let me one of these
chocolates now this is just a not shown
you the bag earlier on the chocolates
I'm gonna eat the love chocolate sweet
and creamy
there's so much more you can do it's all
up to you i guess i have fun with it
I think I need my scooby stick and say
