everyone programming challenge to the
countdown timer this thing is a little
bit late that new year countdown
countdown to the point where we all
scream happy year accepted the program
and you're here
challenged to write it to do this you're
going to need to use a variable an
integer would do the well you're going
to need to initialize Assyria you can
have these two serial print commands to
print a variable you just put the name
of the variable inside there was one of
prints and text we could just put the
text on the quotation marks you're going
to need to iterate the variable meaning
change it every time the loop runs and
given it to count down like you would
decrease it by one and you're gonna need
an if statement basically at some point
when the number reaches a message that
the countdown is complete
kinda like in the summit so let's have a
look at what that's going to look like
to hear it is counting down one count
per second and when it gets 20 discount
on completing the program just stops are
you cereal and that's basically going to
end the transmission through this area
now you wanna you know spice this up
even maybe even try to get it to count
down from a number of it to enter into
the serial you're going to learn this in
future challenges but for now
that's it your turn to program
