alright guys so i want to show you what
you need for building home recording
studio now I'm not special or anything
but you know i'm definitely going
through the stages on you know doing
reviews and whatnot so you know you
start with getting your comfy chair
scare ya know but what you want is some
powered speakers now I got the krk rph
they're powered speakers always be by
krk you want some good sound now if you
don't have money to you know put out
lots or get lots of that big high end
stuff go with some good headphones you
know i got these they're like cheap you
can get them at future shop they sound
good you know get some good specs but I
have some better ones for the booth to
show you later but you know you could
even go so basic you know get some
software you know i'm using Pro Tools
fairly cheap you can get empowered you
need your interface i'm using a fast
track ultra you know it's got your eight
inputs no 6 inputs six in the back and
for preamps in the front and so I have
two audio for my keyboard which is the
role in Juneau G and then i have this
one which goes all the way over to the
booth and this one is so i can talk to
my guy in the booth or whoever i'm
recording so that's for that and so yeah
you're gonna want a decent keyboard i
have a synthesizer but you know you can
get a midi controller because that's
basically all i use i made a mistake on
buying a synthesizer should've bought a
mini controller but i did and so I have
it I have a power conditioner it's not
necessary or anything but it's just you
know easy because all my power powerful
all my speakers are powered so you know
i got sub as well instead of turning off
cutting all of them all and it's just
one switch on
yeah i got the two monitors just because
it's so much easier to work with
it's like I never go back to one more
sure but you know within your budget you
know keep it reasonable some speakers
and headphones software protools I work
with its great get some free like fruity
loops which i also use yeah that's what
i use here and then we'll go over to the
booth here and show you and here is my
booth we got a cord running all the way
on the floor she my headphones which are
amazing i paid 200 something bucks for
these are the m50 audio technique
headphones fantastic great for mixing
vocalist for anyone wanting to listen
music fantastic but anyway we got we
just finished the booth as you can see
it's padded you know fairly simple but
for a microphone very standard i'm using
an audio technique 2050 you know they're
fairly recent out but now they look
alright they sound great and the cord
runs all the way up through my ceiling
all the way down to my studio so you
know there's no cords and a little shelf
in here for water i know people like
their water when they're singing yeah
but you know it's kind of what I'm
working with and I have I do play guitar
and when I do record like an acoustic
guitar i have this space here so it's um
you know which my call is all padded
acoustically so you know it keeps the
sound fairly good and whatnot and this
whole recent so i just want to show you
guys what I have might help you guys in
building studio but um yeah I hope this
