hi there in this video I'm going to show
you how to create an aggregate calendar
view for many users private schedules in
a public Condor on microsoft exchange
server in other words i'm going to
create an exchange group calendar that
will allow team members to check the
availability of their teammates in a
single easy accessible place to achieve
that i'm going to set one way
synchronization says between users
private calendars and the public kind on
microsoft exchange so whenever users
create a new appointment in their
private schedules it will appear in the
public and are immediately and their
colleagues will be able to see it in
their male clients too
before I start I have to install a
special microsoft exchange Adam called
coat to exchange sync you can download
the program from calltouba.com let's get
started then I've already created the
public kind are in the exchange public
folders 3i have also said the correct
access rights for its and now only
selected users can see it since this
particular kind are belongs to a certain
team on leaders no need to make it
visible for the rest of the organization
i've also downloaded code to exchange
thing from khou.com and install the
directly on the server the program can
be installed on any machine belonging to
a given domain provided that this pc is
connected to Microsoft Exchange and the
account the program is installed on
belongs to domain admins group
alright the creation of synchronization
tasks in coat exchange sync is very
straightforward i only need to click on
the new button and give a name for the
new rule
let's call it team a cotton daughter now
we need to choose the synchronization
type know that there are several options
available in the drop-down menu for the
purpose of this video I'm going to
choose one-way sinking many-to-one mode
ok the new thinking task is already
there but its settings are still blank
now i need to schedule the folders for
the synchronization i'm going to go
ahead and press add and choose the right
users can dart as source folders note
that the program allows you to choose
between literally all folders and given
organization it means this tool is
really flexible and gives users a wide
variety of possibilities as far as
folder synchronization and data exchange
our concerns
since I've chosen the many to one option
the target folder can be only one
now i'm going to choose the public team
count are and ok this action basically
the synchronization task has already
been set up but i still would like to
add some final touches
I want my users to be able to prevent
some appointments from being sink for
example when they are add a private
meeting to the kind are that has nothing
to do with the rest of the team they
should be able to keep it private
the best way to achieve that is to apply
the filters to the sinking job i'm going
to go ahead and scroll down to the
filter section and co2 exchange sync and
press add from the drop-down menu I'm
going to choose private equals false and
click OK after we save the changes the
private meetings will not be
synchronized with in this particular
task
last but not least I'm going to attack
the appointments with the owners mailbox
name so that users can easily
distinguish between kind are entries of
different teammates to do that i'm going
to go to the modifier section choose add
and make some changes to the subject of
the altec item as you can see i can use
dynamic placeholders here
the program will replace them with the
correct values on the fly during the
synchronization i'll simply add this
placeholder here and click ok alright
all set i can finally hit the Save
button and turn all these settings live
this one needs to be confirmed to and
the synchronization task is already
working as you can see all non-private
schedules from selected users appear in
the public and our on exchange
immediately feel free to download and
test code exchange sync at no cost for
30 days to learn more and to download
the program go to koat.com to see how to
use this program for synchronizing
exchange server public folders of mobile
devices which this video thanks for
watching
