so much for being here
I'm finally sitting down and doing my
video 4 2016 journal set up
i know i have been asked several times
to share with you what i am doing for
this year and I wanted to give January a
try and see see how it goes before
filming a video so this is what I'm
mainly using for now I know things are
always going to change but for now this
is what I'm really happy with
so right off the bat I want to teach you
all you can see i'm not using the cover
and I don't know why I just I don't know
I maybe i'll use it later but i'm just
using it as is and sometimes i will
write on a daily basis and sometimes I
won't
and some of you might have already
checked my previous videos out but the
empty pages in january i did a challenge
called journaling by fives where I just
did a whole bunch of paint and decoupage
lodging i guess you can say and it
turned out really nice
so it's kind of like a reflection
journal
it's also an art journal this place
it's a place where i can do a little bit
it's that kind of a thing
so I'm of course really still enjoying
the teacher i absolutely love the paper
and I will continue to use this on an
almost daily basis so this is what my
whole body choice for this is the a6
sighs and this is the FX so it only goes
from January to June
that's why it's a little bit it's
thinner than the other one
the original one there's nobody tential
next is maybe all you will do this one
is my horny chi to join weeks and of
course you can see i am not using the
Peacocks cover
it's really pretty but I feel like
it's gonna get dirty and I know there's
like recommendations to scotch guarded
and things but I just haven't gotten to
the store to purchase Scotchgard I don't
even know if they I'm sure maybe talking
heads or some store like that sells
Scotchgard but I don't even know like I
don't know you know what to look for in
Japanese so i have set aside and maybe
hopefully i'll use it if not i don't
know i might sell it but originally my
husband was using this week's cover this
is the porter cover in navy and this
part here is leather and I really really
really like it
I sometimes I take this with me it's
really really portable but most of the
time it's time it's unclipped here and i
have my zipper open and all I have in
this pocket is the pen that it came with
and I usually just stick that in there
and that's it i usually have it sitting
on my desk or something
it's really really simple nothing in
this pocket here here just have some
heart seals or heart stickers sorry
they're just kind of like indicator
stickers for the calendar and i use
so this is the i don't know the official
name is basically lime green the heart
cover and with pocket that i have i have
these two stencils
i was using them in the beginning but
you'll see later on I just freehand a
lot of my check boxes so I you do keep
them in here because they're nice and
like portable really thin and so I keep
them in the pocket here and then this is
the map that it came with
just in case I needed trying to take the
subway somewhere and then this is the
stickers that i mentioned these small
masking stickers really nice and thin
you use them for like birthdays
I have that in my pocket here and the
first book market goes to my monthly
view and I just have my appointments and
things like that like meetings I have to
that meetings but like your appointments
i guess i have the in the monthly view
and then I don't use this bookmark too
often i forget to you know continually
to switch it to the next week but I
definitely use this strategy key
I really really like this educates not
to like you compare it to the travelers
notebook one you just get it for you
the plastic is different
this one is a little bit thicker
actually I don't know if it's thicker
but it's just sturdier guess this is I
mean this is really sturdy too but it's
just the perfect durability I don't know
the word is it's not too flimsy but it
provides a nice hard writing surface so
that it doesn't indent my pages on the
next page but I started to mr. i didn't
use it in december i was trying several
things out
then I kind of started using it in
january and this is just strictly
planning I don't really decorate or
anything and it works so well for me I
have my to do is here
I decided to do my youtube to do is here
I like my editing and posting things
like that and it's just really it's so
simple and I just look at it and I know
what I need to do
it's perfect I really really liked it so
I you
this is where i used to use the stencil
like these check boxes but I'm just kind
of free handing them
it looks fine in the beginning I was
really worried because of the great is
so small and I or my writing is not that
big but I was just a little afraid that
I would be able to keep my handwriting
or my writing within the grade but it
works just fine and i love it especially
the this pen here it's a nice fine tip
that it works perfectly with this group

yeah it's really simple just scheduling
and to do's and things i love it and
then at the top here
I might be able to see this yellow tab
I am keeping my rack list a little
behind but I like to keep my list there
I like to jot notes of things that I
want to
give to people so i just keep going to
leave a note there and then my other
little tap here is just my expenses that
i keep track of and it
I really did
um I didn't know this but these no pages
here in the back of the homeowner g
weeks
they're numbered and there's an index in
the front so it's perfect I don't know
why
little things like that make me really
happy yeah i love the fact that it's
numbered
they don't use any of the other pages
there and talk I just kept this is the
porter carcass
this is from esther as she went to visit
the obg store and I like to keep this in
here
don't forgot to show you today i showed
you gather nothing in there
so that's it for my weeks very simple
very portable
nice and thin so easy to take with me if
I need to I absolutely love it
so that's it so that's my weeks and then
here is my travelers notebook me that
you travelers notebook this is the 5th
edition
sorry edition loving it so far i have
three notebooks in there and one zipper
pouch there is a snap closure that i'm
not using right now but you can put
stuff in there if you want to
so this is super pouch is from a place
called stick sticker riffic and i've
done an unboxing video if you want to
check it out in the pockets he
I just have some business cards
and I think this is just some post-its
and some washi tape of course just in
case
this is from april so pretty
April blue penguins creative and then
this first insert is the media brand in
search
this is the monthly will have anything
on my first page here but my book my
first section like my bookmark the first
part goes directly to the month and i
use this monthly calendar strictly to
mark down my youtube videos
previous month I started from
mid-january and I just kind of use these
. stickers to indicate how often i am
posting a video and I just have some to
do is there and you notice these two
bigger ones i started a challenge
I don't know if it's challenge but I
started something called incal Rimel
where you write a letter or postcard or
like us a little note not necessarily
for someone overseas but you write one
letter per day so it for this month
would be 29 and so i posted one postcard
on yesterday and I posted 7 today which
is nice but I have also done a little
like mammals and things like that on
these days but I haven't like they're
just simple little mammals so but i'm
i'm doing really well on the income I'm
having so much fun
and this little tab here I want to kind
of make it a little bit prettier
I just have a post it so I don't forget
I want to keep track of my ankle Rimel
on these blank pages that are located on
the back of this monthly insert if
you're curious this monthly insert goals
from january to the little from december
all the way to
in January and it has a map and then
some extra pages and should have showed
you in the beginning there's also this
yearly two-page spread this second
insert is also made only brand i just
kind of stuck some stickers on the back
here
this is the weekly insert this little
typewriter pocket
it's actually think it's from the
customized sticker set the mood on your
customized stickers in action has a
pocket so you can stuff some things in
there
I just have this tag I think it's from
my sons
- lets go take from his two and just
have some recent girl
stickers they're perfect side nice and
small and a blank note paper and I
decided to just write something in here
like a just as a greeting huh
I wrote this is our ear and I want to do
originally I was going to say this is my
ear but then it's alright and so if I
start to tremble
I just felt like this the start of this
year there were just so many like I had
some friends that are going through so
many difficulties and I just feel like
if we work things together when I'm
going through difficult times and
if my friends are going through
difficult times if we work things
together and we overcome the challenges
together it makes me so happy
so if even if i were to overcome my
challenge
if my friend is going through something
really difficult I'm not happy right so
I decide to do something simple like
that this is our year i'm really
thankful for everybody who's there
supporting me but anyway just this is
our year I just really it's not just
about me it's about everybody around me
in my life
you guys so anyways I just wrote that
this is our year and then I have this
really really pretty sticker that my
friend sent me my roof I'm allowed to
say her name but I think she's vanilla
puppy on on Instagram she just changed
her name
but i received that from her so this
month is a sword this weekly insert has
the year two years at a glance
then it has the full year like this
no I did start it into here
january the beginning of the year I just
kind of wanted to play around with how I
wanted to use this insert I knew the
whole body g weeks i was using it for
you know strictly appointments and just
not decorating I didn't want to do that
in there and the home in EG if I wanted
to write I can just write a whole bunch
of stuff in there and then this i
decided to have more like a creative
outlet where I can just stamp things i
can put you know paint down
I can stick things that I got from my
friends
i purchased a pilot prayer ponte pants
absolutely love by the way so i put like
the label there so things like that and
this one is occupy which is a how would
you say it I don't know what it's called
in english it's a nice little crispy
pastry
uh-huh so I put that in there so things
like that
I decided to stick stamps i purchase the
pocket which is actually here
00 00 06 travelers notebook pocket so i
put like labels
put the labels there I got some washi
tape from I think this is from the
sticker Rick Hall some quotes things I
guess highlights in the day quotes
sometimes I wrote my appointments in
there but i don't i don't rely this
I don't rely on this weekly spread for
my appointments but yeah actually Cape
just decorating
more like labels and things
washi tape stickers stamps quotes
yeah it's kinda fun I can I'm just kind
of like putting whatever I feel like
down things if I sent packages if I
found videos once again some quotes and
lots of stickers here there
this is the very breath clip once again
the stamps and just steps from Canada
so I'm really really enjoying this
insert or this way of journaling
I guess it's I guess it is called
generally because i'm writing the
highlights of the day and I'm being I'm
allowing myself to get creative and
sticking things whatever i feel like i'm
sticking in here so and i love this
paper
I don't know what it is I really like
writing in this notebook using fountain
pen
I i of course like using fountain pen in
my home and attention but this paper is
just really nice I don't know what it is
about it but I really do enjoy this
notebook
that's just a postcard I need to reply
to and once again I have this tab here
at the top you can see here just have
this sticker saber sheet
this is from the hole - Chi Chi
potential website then I just have some
stickers that you know if I'm out which
I'm really up with this notebook but i
can just kind of stick
whatever I want to if I feel like I have
some stickers there and this insert is a
thing is called an insert and I received
this from my special friend
lima filofax fines on Instagram
she was a house of youtube videos as
well and it's a grid insert also going
to start great its . and
just have my bookmark here i have been
just kind of dueling just running some
notes if I want you to the video and
watch this youtube video draw with jazza
and his kind of explaining how to draw
different aspects of the phase and have
to have not doing a very good job here
but that's why I decided to use this
insert for but i'm not using it as much
my last time here are my youtube video
ideas but yeah i might remove this
because i just i mainly stick to these
two inserts and i'm really loving the
system
maybe I'll just use this insert and i'll
put into something else
yeah I'm not sure yet so that's the last
insert there and in this pouch
I have been happy here
some index stickers from esther she is
Esther Molina art on Instagram very very
talented lady and this
use a postcard that my son Drew on
just some reset girl stickers that i use
for my appointments and things
this is just another this is the refill
of the stickers i use for my monthly
calendar and this is also from esther
these washi tape stickers that I god I
love those washi tape stickers are so
nice and thin
perfect so yeah so this is what I use
for my monthly these just stickers .

they're see-through so they're perfect
they have different sizes so i would
like to use that and then from time to
time i will use this writing board or
pencil board or I guess it's called a
strategy in Japanese and if I need hard
writing service for example like I have
this postcard here with his paper clip
if I'm bothered by it
I can just stick that in there and it
provides a nice flat writing surface so
i have this in this pocket just find it
and then i have this black paper clip
I need it just in case i'm not using
this bookmark but so that is my
travelers notebook set up and i'm really
liking this setup right now
huh I don't know if i'm going to change
my mind i'm pretty sure i will but this
weekly insert I really really like i
like the weekly format from last year
i'm really liking this weekly format for
the travelers notebook
I did use the same format last year I
used happy scrappy inserts where there
was the week on the side and then the
blank but using like just this like
journaling style is really i really
really like it since i'm really enjoying
it so far
so I will continue to do that i have
another travelers notebook that i use
more for travel journal
I know I need to post the video i filmed
the video of my travel journal set up so
i will have to post that soon but that's
where else i also use this travel
journal sighs the regular travel journal
sighs and I'm loving that size as well
for the travel journal but yeah so these
are the planners my father's notebook
for daily journal are journaling i guess
you can say I hope need two weeks for
scheduling strictly scheduling an
appointment introduced and then my home
in each stitch all a six eyes for
writing and I guess the semi art journal
so this is my setup for 2016
