Ripping, Decompiling, Modifying and Exporting Flash Games

In this tutorial i show you a simple example of how to mod a flash game. The one i used is Fly The Copter which i have already released a modded version before on a previous video.

This is for educational purposes and i don't want any crappy h8 comments saying this stuff i do is shit. I know i'm no Flash master and i'm not implying it either.

Anyway the programs you will need are:

Sothink SWF Decompiler - http://www.sothink.com/product/flashd... (Free Trial)
Adobe Flash (Any Version)
Flash Player (Anything that plays Flash (SWF Files))
Sothink SWF Catcher - http://www.sothinkmedia.com/swf-catch... (Free)

Steps:
1. Get flash game (SWF) of internet browser or other sources.
2. Decompile and export as FLA.
3. Open in Flash Editor (Adobe Flash).
4. Modify how you like (experiment).
5. Export as SWF.
6. Play modded game in a Flash Player (internet explorer will do)

Other individual games may vary, sometimes the actionscript is not recognised and when exported the game will not function like the normal version (one example-Curveball).

Extra Notes:
1. Yes, i know i say basically a lot :P.
2. Having AutoPan On whilst trying to edit with pan/crop is quite difficult so sorry for akward zooms in the video.
