I take a look at a large product that people seem to tell me a lot about. Razer Game Booster, I go first hand at trying this thing out and come back with some honest results. channel and today I'm going to answer
one simple but complicated question does
razor game booster work
edit in some fancy intro sequence like
everyone else does i guess here
ok so I'm there's many ways to go around
this question on it it's very it's a
very general question and it really has
to be put into depth to really get what
you're trying to ask
now i'm going to answer every version of
this question I possibly can
so let's do that so on the first version
of the question is does it give you more
FPS now this is one of the simplest
answer is i can give you is no it will
not give you more FPS now that's really
all personal
yes - I don't know how to answer that
but I'm it's really all just a different
it it can really vary upon different
things but generally it won't give you
more FPS now
it really depends if you have a very
processor intense program open like you
do if you randomly have sony vegas pro
12 open in the background you play games
and you use razor game booster it will
boost that because it will close the new
program and why would you have that open
at the same time but um yeah it's a it
it generally won't now it can if you
have good
like I said very processing and
processor or GFX intense GFX what the
hell
talking about a graphic intense uh
programs but most likely you will not so
most likely it won't help you get FPS so
another version of this question is does
it make your game smoother now this is
one of the more in-depth questions i'm
going to go into because it's a yes and
I person this is all from personal
opinions sometimes I've heard it doesn't
help you at all but some people don't
really go in-depth on these things and
actually see what it does for you and
personally if you have more of a low ram
Oh like Loram amount than it will give
you more uh it will smooth out your
games but even if you have liked more
than eight gigabytes like I actually
have eight gigabytes of ram it still
does which is usually the UH which is
over the minimum for most games
is it does still boost your of your the
feel of the game it does make it feel
smoother now I've been playing a lot of
Tara free-to-play amount thank you sean
just have to add that in there but I've
been playing a lot of Tara lately and
i've i've really noticed that with this
program
I've been able to play tera well of
course I could without it but it is
killed it like i said it keeps the frame
rate so it's really all depends on your
computer if you're able to play the game
or not
this will not like if you have a low end
PC this will not help you play
it's like let's say if you have a very
old pc like a laptop or something
this won't have let help you play
battlefield 4 or all those games this
will not boost that much now
that's what a lot of people think this
program does they're like aw do this get
this program sucks it doesn't help me
whatsoever
this program is not made to make your
computer magic gaming machine guys you
got to remember that this program is it
simply help your gaming experience feel
smoother and that's what it does and it
does it great
um i have not used this program open at
the same time as I record be just
because I don't want to interfere with
anything so I don't use this by
recording
when I casually play I will have this
open and as you can see yes i have it
open for counter-strike source as well I
have it for all sorts can I have it I
have it open for every game now just
because it generally makes the game feel
smoother and even if the games are
smooth enough i will still have it open
just because you know shits and giggles
I guess but it's just it generally does
help now let's look at the utilities and
stuff so as you can see you could turn
off the processes I don't turn off a lot
of processes because most of them
i need like you see I have dxtory but i
always have dxtory open no matter what
and on my friend said that was kind of
weird but I have the extra open 24-7 on
my computer
I'm just because I'd like has seen the
frame rate now you can actually include
FPS counter for this but I just like
having dxtory open
just because it denies all knowledge
dxtory alike didn't stuff but as you can
see i did make it close my catalyst
control center stuff that's for AMD
cards a real-time protector close that
crap
steam of course I need that because
that's what's pretty much running the
games and just stuff but as you can see
it closes all the stuff i don't need
when I boost it now
there's not a lot of stuff i close my
process is just because i usually don't
have a lot of things open when I'm
gaming anyways so that's pretty much
useless but and services to this is all
my clothes all my services just because
they're not really needed when gaming
most of the time and sometimes if you
don't close the services i don't think
it will affect you much either but the
biggest thing is is I think it's you
have advanced systemcare uh where is it
let's see uh oh I don't have it too
close explorer.exe on a lot of people do
just because they're they say it gives
you more ram but personally i don't
because when i do it takes away my start
button and changes it actually old orb
and I don't like that because i wanted
to keep to my windows 8 look because i
like that i don't want to have to keep
shutting down my computer or logging off
and logging back on that make that
appear again so I don't close that but
it still does smooth it out quite a bit
now if you guys do have a low end PC or
you guys have a little amounts of ram
then i would check that but for me i
don't personally I launch game on gaming
desktop that's where it actually takes
away all the icons on your desktop but
that's usually if you have a lot of
icons as you can see i have dual
monitors and i only have one icon on
both because I like to keep my arm
I like to keep my desktop clean just
because I don't I don't I have all my
games launching in my steam or something
i always have something to launch my
games and if i don't i always keep them
in my start bar just to keep my stuff
clean because i like an empty desk top
that's just my personal opinion I
actually might delete to recycle bin
soon or i might add it to hear because I
just wanted empty desk that's how i like
it but a lot of people will have the
whole thing the whole desktop completely
covered in icons
so you want to launching game desktop
that will take away the icons and that
will give you a little bit more ram as
well as you can clear am so optima
optimizes your memory usage itself and
it does clear the clipboard for problems
or uh you can change your power settings
to high performance and all that it does
all the little nifty stuff where you
don't where most people would make you
go through the steps to do all this
where game booster automatically does it
right when you boost a game which is
nice
diagnostics is just something to give
you a general draft report of your
computer her - I don't use it so I don't
really know I don't die i don't care but
the defrag is actually pretty cool it's
it's it's very nifty thing so you can
just find any game you want and then you
can defrag it and what this does is it
goes through the game files itself and
defrag the game so it
I generally don't know how it will help
perform in your game but it does defrag
now the problem is is if it's a bigger
game you might want to defrag it where
Tara is a 20
no it's a 35 gigabyte game so on it
you might find see like it did defrag
some stuff and that sometimes it will
say there's noes 0 defrag files after
but generally this dude defrag some
which is kind of cool
so as you can see it it does somehow
help your game
I'm not a hundred percent sure but
that's a nifty little thing drivers it
does actually help you out keep your
drivers up to date and generally i don't
use the this upgrade drivers thing here
i use mine in advanced systemcare
because i think it generally works
better and it has helped me in the past
say sink save games i'm not i don't use
this as you can see you have to login
and stuff but I generally do not use oh
that's not my email
by the way that's my old email so if you
try to email that then that's that's not
mine but um yeah I'm not anymore
I don't use it use it for all the spam
stuff i can get but um so as you can see
yeah it's it's just pretty cool it does
help and all that but like I said those
are the two main questions i'm really
i'm going to really cover is the first
one does it could give you more FPS the
answer is no it does not give you any
more FPS then you get already in game so
if you guys get like 25 FPS in game it
generally will not help you with that
but it will make the game feel smoother
so if you're playing a game at a lower
FPS it does make the game feel like you
do have a little bit more FPS then you
do and that's always nice because it
makes the game feel smoother
even at a low FPS which is clearly nice
personally I've never tried on a lower
FPS game
um I don't really have a game that i
can't play with under like 40
I think terrible sometimes in a high
populated area will drop down to 30 but
generally it's still feel smooth with
this running which is always nice but
because i want to the feel of it to be a
little bit better but yeah so thank you

would if you're a casual gamer and you
just want something to make your games
feel smoother it will help with 60 FPS
games and stuff like that it just it
just generally feels like if you turn
vsync off it feels like this never
turned it off
