want to know what the best talent in the
game is well I've got the answer and
I've got the math to prove it
stick around and I'll tell you
everything you need to know about a
talent will see you doing at least ten
or twenty percent more dps based on your
weapon type and play style
guys it's cool up here and today we're
going to be talking about how and why
the one is non talent is unquestionably
the best talent in the game now I know a
lot of you know that this is already a
very strong talent but I want to talk
through today just how strong it is and
and how and when you should be aiming to
utilize this talent
given that its value actually differs
greatly across different weapon types
similar to the other videos I've done on
the divisions weapon mechanics I put a
huge amount of work into this video so

so with that let's take it from the top
what is one is none
one is none is a talent available at the
bottom of the security tree and this
description reads headshot a hostile to
have a fifty percent chance to not
consume the bullet at first glance this
doesn't sound all that exciting does it
I mean we generally don't run out of
ammo all that much
so why should I care if I get some extra
bullets back
but the thing is this talent doesn't
return this bullet to your reserves
it actually returns these bullets
directly into your magazine
meaning that if you should say 100
bullets over the course of a magazine
and 20 of them are headshots are
actually going to be getting back a
minimum of 10 additional bullets per
magazine before you have to reload
I say minimum because the extra bullets
you can get can actually be head shops
themselves mean that you can get even
more bullets than just the fifty percent
you might expect
so here you can see exactly how this
talent works
I shoot the dummy and on occasion my
ammo dips down for a split second before
coming back up
i also get a little buff icon displaying
down the bottom to let me know when this
ability is propped and just as an aside
this ability can proc while that icon is
there which means that there's no
internal cooldown on this ability it can
continuously proc all the time right
so now that you know exactly what this
talent does and how it works
let's talk about why it's so powerful
and why you really shouldn't be leaving
home without it
first up this is a huge increase in your
burst dps potential because it means
that you don't have to reload as often
the longer I can keep firing before i
have to reload the higher my total
damage post second output becomes so
that's already a really big win there
secondly having extra bullets in your
magazine gives you greater ability to
bring down the targets that union in
your line of sight before they have the
chance to run away
take cover heal up or any other number
of things putting your target down is
the ultimate goal when we talk about DPS
and these extra bullets can often be the
difference between winning and losing in
both PVE and pvp environments
finally this time gives you a huge
amount of benefit from a sustained and
ammo capacity perspective
so we generally don't run out of ammo
all that much but during challenge
challenge modes and in higher levels of
the dark zone
mo is definitely a consideration the
extra ammo efficiency this talent of
Ford's you could absolutely mean the
difference between you running out of
ammo and having one extra magazine
available to you when you really need it
during harry PVE or pvp encounter
so how do you make the most out of your
talent is talent in your various built
well the best way to talk about this is
to break it down by different weapon
types
so firstly for assault rifles I'd be
really cautious with how heavily bank on
this talent
unless you have a ton of stability and
accuracy assault rifles are generally
going to keep quite a bit
we also have quite a large radical which
makes it quite hard to land consistent
headshot so don't expect too much
benefit from this talent when using it
with an assault rifle
so the LMGs this talent is actually
amazing
if you imagine you have a base magazine
of about two hundred bullets
this talent can actually bring your
total round in that magazine to about
four or five hundred depending on your
property chance and this seems like it
would be really incredible
but the fact of the matter is that
because lng base damage is so bad at the
moment it's just still not worth using
it so yes you're going to be able to
hold the trigger down for a long time
and in fact if you watch me doing this
now i actually have to move my mouse
back up to the top of the mouse pad
because that's how long I'm firing for
and controlling the recoil you get huge
long patterns of fire out of this but
the fact of the matter is LMGs are still
not worth using
even with this incredible magazine for
shotguns this act this talent is
actually just straight up broken so what
happens with this is that the game
actually counts each individual pilet
you fire as a bullet and since it fires
aight pellets
if you can land a head shots then you
are almost guaranteed to get a proc
meaning you get these ridiculous
situations where you can actually just
continuously fire your shotgun without
ever having to reload it so it's it's
actually legit broken and i'm sure it
will be patched soon so i won't talk
about it much other than to say
enjoy it while you can for marksman
rifles this town is a natural fit since
you are heavily prioritizing headshot
damage so much your 10 round mag on your
m1a could actually be pushed to 15
rounds or more if you are able to learn
your headshots and this is a very big
deal when it comes to marksman rifles
honestly if you're packing a marksman
rifle don't even think about not using
this talent
finally and this is where the talent
absolutely dominates SMGs now I want to
talk about the state of SMG is right now
because there's a lot to say on the
topic but the long and the short of it
is that SMGs are simply too good because
they are best utilized up close where
it's easy to land headshots and as such
they are benefiting the most from the
ridiculous stacking of crit chance and
bonus headshot damage
it's not uncommon for me to be in the
dark stone or a challenge mode and
successfully dumped an entire magazine
of SMG damage into an enemy skull with
ease
simply because the weapon lets me do
that as such the throughput and burst
dps benefit this talent provides SMGs is
just utterly ridiculous like it's insane
and if you don't believe me then here's
something I prepared earlier
so this here is actually the relaunched
division dps . com which myself and
another guy that's been helping me his

really all that amazing web designer and

he's helped me put this together and
it's a calculator which allows you to
enter your stats to see what your actual
in-game dps is it's not the value that's
provided to you by the game because
unfortunately that number is flat-out
wrong and if you don't and if you're not
quite sure how that works and you'd like
to learn more about it than i really
recommend watching the video that I put
in the description below and that will
explain everything
so using division dps . com you can
actually enter the stats for your weapon
and then toggle the one is none talent
either on or off to see how much impact
it has on your neck DPS and as you can
see the impact on the lack of an SMG is
just huge it's some 20 k dps when my
weapon is already sitting in a hundred
and thirty-five k base damage
so that's an additional 20 k dps just
for enabling one talent that's a pretty
damn good talent now for other weapon
types
that's the numbers aren't quite as
impressive but it's still very
respectable so i encourage you to have a
go for yourself at Division dps calm and
see what impact this talent has on your
dps

because you're going to have better
insight into which weapons and talents
and mods and other upgrades are going to
have the biggest in
