tell just by looking at you and of
course I'm Rob parent and the director
of multi-media marketing for Satori
software and I will be your host today
so Kim you gotta lotta stuff you're
gonna talk about source go ahead
and get started her right so today
I am rather than have a kinda boring
agenda slide
I kinda wanted to talk a little bit
about book Miller professional
handbook Miller business and what really
the differences are
who would select business over pro when
would be a good time for you to make
that decision and how you'd make that
transition happen
so I'm so we've got a lot two different
questions and hopefully by the end of
today as well
webinar you'll have a lot of information
to be able to make that decision
and I and be able to make your next
steps if that applies to:
so let's take a look at can have some
generic why questions
in the desert we're gonna can I dive
into the is a little bit more as we go
throughout the entire webinars your bed
one of the big reasons that add that we
have customers look at book Miller

is the handsome issues with database
limitations
so if things like processing speed
or the sizeof your last
the site the number records that you're
processing is something that's

have less time to wait

I I have yet to meet a mailer who
doesn't have the one-day turnaround
problem church you get
I didn't job that's dropped on your desk
right after lunch in your expected to
put it out
that day and and sometimes that can be a
limitation based on the size that
mailing
sometimes you're not able to to do that
inside a pro without
having those a little anxiety moments
has customers walk in all the time and
say here's a job take as long as you
want with it
it I you note it I think that's pretty
rare in the space today
so we're we're in that instant
gratification society and so
being able to turn those those jobs
around very quickly is very a very
important
so Saudi dubious limitations is
something to have time
the that might be a problem for you and
that would be a good reason to look at

another one is how many people are
involved
in the creation of your mailing so how
many people do you have
running address correction running pre

said actually designing and printing the
actual

interact across your process
so sad is this something where you have
one person who does one job in another
person who does another job and that's

industry continues to move forward with

om invoicing down the rotor postage
assessments it's not too bad invoicing
but as we get to
postage assessments being able to
control which permits are being used
um there yeah there's a lot of
additional flexibility are
that's going to be needed moving forward
exactly exactly
so step into this a little bit further
so
let's let's look at the people who would
wanna tear start looking
at at a change the first obviously
is mail service providers so if you're
doing mailings for other companies
being able to manage your client's
information being able to turn around
those jobs at the drop of a hat
is a really crucial way to you had to do
your business you want to be as
efficient as possible
to be able to take on its as much I have
is much bandwidth as you can
because time is money rate you want to
be able to to turn those jobs around
and get on to the next one so you're not
paying your employees overtime
and that dead that everybody gets to go
home and have dinner with their families
so
answered mail service providers are
definitely a key user
a book million business another one is
for anyone who's using
a rather large list and it for the
definition a book mailer
large is really only a hundred thousand
records so the it's pretty easy to have
to regularly have a job that's a hundred
thousand records are more
and I'm so anytime you're using book now
a professional
you for have the limitations at the
database back-end and so
being able to have a different database
backend it gives you more
opportunity to process those jobs in a
quicker fashion in a more efficient way
as well
not to be clear 100000 that's actually a
lotta that a lot of mail
it is a lot a male solo single job but
you know these days you've got a lot of
as
kind of got a lot of mail service
providers who are starting to take on
more national jobs in so even though you
may not be
day I'm you know that the Quickie
printed in the corner office a
even those those smaller locations are
starting to take on
those bigger jobs they're gonna it
impact more people
and I do want to mention something
there's up a
at-risk year that it sounds like were up
selling
business and or be clear that if
somebody calls enna
they lay out the criteria here's sort
mailings we do it cetera
we wanna make sure customers are matched
with the correct product as well as a
result we're happy to say no it sounds
like a pro is a perfect match for you I
would stick with that so
just wanna be clear from the beginning
that that that's not the way we've
operated here at Satori we've talked
about this on a number of different
webinars but if you call your not gonna
get
automatically told that business is an
upgrade for you that you need
yeah exactly so for example if you're a
periodical Miller
you are I B euro weekly beggars in our
weekly newsletter it that you're sending
out
and in you have a an established list
that's
maybe fifty thousand records are last
name didn't book Miller professionals
probably not a great fit for you you
only have your
your permit may be a couple spare
permits but but really you're not
managing
those larger lists that the greater
spanos as things
and you've got a schedule rate your
irregularly processing things every week
so things are very predictable book
Miller business is a little bit
is a little bit better for those people
who don't have that predictable schedule
in who get that mailing dropped off at 1
o'clock in the afternoon and have to
turn it around by the end of the day
and we're confident enough in the
product line here that the there's a
place there's a product for everybody
and so as a result
we don't need up so you into something
you don't need so just %uh
wanna throw that out there because you
know starts to sound a
like we're headed that direction we're
not if you call and you say I'm a small
may learn here's what I've got work as a
prosecutor
stick with it yep yep exactly yes so
am so again you know that can at that
speed up processing making sure that
everything's
I'm running if you do have those kind of
emergency jobs than 10 that's going to
be a good fit for you
and you have some great numbers there's
a chart later on are you have to head in
your presentation I'm really amazed at
the difference in performance
yeah if minutes or hours make a
difference in your business then
business might make sense yep yep
exactly
yup and then a course if you have
multiple people who are involved
in the creation of the mailing so
obviously if you've got
you've got to go you know a yes a front
desk person and things like that that
are really going to be touching the
mailing software
we wouldn't count those as a user this
would be things like people who were
importing lists
actually processing the Leicester at
description sorting
submitting their a doc I'm in actually
printing as well
if you have multiple people involved in
that process in bulk mailers gonna be a
good fit for you
and has the complexity of mailings
continues to increase
you know having more than one person and
understands the software
understands what needs to be done just
so you have that internal back up
because you always know there's going to
be situations where
now someone's out at the office and eat
it can stop you from
continuing to run your business so more
and more of an
there are multiple user scenarios were
people are
just need that for backup and even if
you've got the concept a different roles
you've got people who run different
parts the software at different times
that overlap is a handy thing to have
yes scam exactly so let's talk a little
bit about which cut it
do can hinted at this whole idea of have
the database limitations in
and things like that so let's talk a
little bit about the difference the mean
difference between popular business
and book my professional is really the
database but on the back and
so book Miller professional is built on
the Microsoft Jet Database which is also
what Microsoft accesses
is built on as well
and so it's a it's a very it's a very
strong database system
but it's not is scaleable a sequel
server is
so what we've done with book Miller
businesses we built it on the pop from
as Microsoft sequel server which is
actually
the Canada premier database back-end up
for in emailing product that's installed
in the market today
and so and it said sequel server is it
really
a very powerful technology
that allows our customers have more
flexibility so when the main limitations
love the jet database is the size
limitation
so the actual file size for what you can
import what you can process
is to get a bite spin the same is true
for some other database systems that are
out there like
I'm but the DBS so anything that's in
trucks pro
would have that that to get size
limitation now
another thing that and its sequel server
allows us to do is it actually allows
for larger text fields
so I'm I mean obviously for an address
line
you probably Ganymede maybe maybe 100
characters
you know not not so bad and that's
totally manageable within
access state makes with sequel server
you actually have
not even just a limitation of 255
characters but you can go into thousands
of characters
per text field why would you want to do
that in you know really
we don't have a ton idk people who run
into this but sometimes we'll have
people
have is part of their input file still
have entire paragraphs
that are part of their candidate extra
DDP loaded goes along with the list
right
and so it might be it might be their
confirmation letter in it might be the
actual tax
that's associated with that maybe
there's some variable print that's
associated but as well
and all that information can actually be
managed inside a sequel server
because it doesn't have that tonight
tried 55 character limit
so I'm a lot to customers who were using
but my professional would actually take
in just not import those fields and then
they would have to match them back up
at the end and so I was with book my
business he just imported in
you need do what you need to do at the
out outside you can print it or you can
export it back out
then you don't have to do that merge at
the end and one and one of the things
that we're seeing with the postal
service
expecially with incentives that are
going on I'm
this year is you know they're really
starting to focus on
personalisation and L really doing
customized messaging and marketing to
individuals based on what you already
know about them and
and there is so much day out there about
all
are you customers interest that better
you know the customer you can tailor the
message specifically to on the better
it's going to be an
and this is where bulk mailer business
gives you the flexibility to
really enhance and increase the amount
of personalization that you're putting
into your
mailings ten years ago you would never
have a mailing address pile that
had say an email address or a URL or
anything else like that depended on to
it and now deja on you might so
knows what kinda 81 attach in their
customer file or something else
it exactly yeah and so with the sequel
server back and it gives a lot of flat
flexibility for both the size if you're
mailing
in general not just the mailing list but
also the individual fields inside up
there
and the other thing that's equal server
gives you is a really convenient way to
backup
and we've actually simplified it even
more than then microsoft has so there
are some
some backup utilities that are available
inside a sequel server
but we've actually I we've actually
narrowed it down to just a simple simple
click we have a backup and restore tool
that will back up everything to do you
not just with your mailings
but also all the templates and
everything else that you use so for
example
if you have a number of templates that
you use for
sorting and I'm group in your records
importing printing all that information
is actually stored inside if the sequel
Server database
and what you can do is you can backup
all that information
and whatever frequency works for you and
that gives you a lot more as
as confidence that you're gonna be able
to keep your business running
so if that one machine with the server
goes down you can be used to restore it
to another machine very quickly and get
back up our
and running very quickly
so let's talk a little bit more about
the database fields
I am in addition to you that field size
that we have so it can be over 2,000
characters I haven't really seen
anything
more than 2000 characters although I
would challenge anyone to you lead to do
that
I actually saw someone actually have a a
user field
that was the entire taxed update the
cover letter
that they were sending out all in one
field it was the best of times it was
the worst
to exit it was rather late day for sure
so on so obviously we're not gonna
initially create the database to
have 2000 record size for each of your
text fields
we started a very manageable size 32
these are fields about 100 wreck
a bar 100 characters and I am but
what'll happen is actually book Miller
will expand
backfield based on the D did that you
input so whether it's through the import
wizard or
if it's true editing through the views
well actually expand those fields to
encompass all the data that you have see
you don't have to do that database
management where you're going in and
changing okayed user Field 3d was
100 characters now I need 150
or what have you help role will do that
up to the 255 exactly you're saying here
is that business will then blow right
through 255 n
head northward that yep we have been
able to do it all behind the scenes so
you don't have to manage that
at all so if I cut and paste a tolstoy
novel into their you're good you should
be good to go
it might be a little difficult to print
you might have it a couple
reams of paper to go there that paper
she
at Moody's well not these days it bed at
it's very capable from a database level
another thing that book Miller business
ties is I is it allows you to a little
bit more flexibility
with what extra D-day and how many
fields have extra day to you can import
so I where book Miller professional has
15 user text fields that are
they were installed by default on with
each at the files
with Brooke Miller business we actually
start out with these 13
user text you fields you can add as many
additional fields as you want
and again that you're not limited to
that to take a baby to get a bite
database size so I'm see you can keep
adding
disease or text fields and you can
rename them so that you remember okay
this is the account number this is their
car color or what have you
or color you know sometimes you want to
market to the people who have a blue
Mercedes straight
an and so that customization
is really really hot in the mailing
market right now that's
everything that we heard NPF this year
was
knowing as much as you can about the
customer so you can really Taylor
message to them yes p.m. so if you know
you have a blue Mercedes
then you can print a picture up there
blue Mercedes
on their mail piece and they say hey
that's my car
and there's that that emotional tie in
to that mail piece and it makes it so
much more powerful
call yeah so I'm so we have an unlimited
number reviews are fields obviously
unlimited
should probably be in quotes its it's
based on the size of the database so
when to start getting into the thousands
abuser fields you're gonna be expanding
to the limitations if
at sequel server which is about four
gigabytes so you're here
you're gonna be Indiana course it also
depends on the number of records so
it's sad but it will expand I'm
all you do you have your 30 user text
fields and then
the ice as many as you want those when
we also have I E
user feels for numbers and deets and
phone numbers as well sell
there's a lot of flexibility there as to
what you can import what D-day you can
pass through book Miller
and get into your pet system or expert
for for another system as well
so just to add does that those
additional fields you just click on that
new and you can just keep
click in is as long as you can I I've
con up to 150 be for me
fingers got a little tired so I am be
there said there's a lot of a
user feels that you can add their cell
we've talked a lot about Kennedy to be
structure was talk about this
a little bit more from a personal
contacts so
one of the things that's really powerful
about Brooke Miller business
is the ability interaction
is no picture in the lower right corner
is that you can't it looks a little bit
like
looks like you her her hairs not quite
early enough but it but today
yeah it's it's really interesting
because we do have a lot to customers
especially in the mail service provider
space
have multiple people involved in the
creation of a mailing
sure whether that's a customer service
rep who has cut the
the list from the customer and they want
to get it ready for a day at the actual
database people to start looking at
or you have the people who were her
managing the data base their
they're going through and making sure
that the fields are lined up in that
everything set up properly they're
they're doing the dedupe they're making
sure that everything's
aligned you got people are just doing
that address them address correction
man's
sorting and then you've got the people
who are taking that information
and printing and it may be importing
into a variable data program
or something along those lines but you
have a lot of people who were involved
in that whole process
who are really specialized but on
fits a lot of times you want how to read
and it see there you wanna make sure you
have multiple people trained on all
these different areas
and you want to be able to have access
to the lists and templates that her
better on you know that are available so
if jolt started a job on Tuesday and
then
on Wednesday she calls in sick someone
else can
login and she can't they didn't pick up
with the list that she created
and then also the templates that she had
so book Miller business with the sequel
back and
all runs on a single database and you
can actually purchase multiple
user accounts that would allow multiple
people to access that data base
all at the same time so with that it
again it's not just
the address list is also the templates
themselves so that we're talking about
the pre sort settings or the import
settings
or the print settings that are all
available in that template
can be shared across all the users in
your network
so I'm so that's a really powerful I
haven't
thing there in its it's really
interesting to be able to set up a
template
on one machine and instantly it's
visible on another machine
and so it's it's a really easy way for
you to to Canaccord meet
within
on within your company so I could have
multiple people managing my mailings
that and then we could do the old
secretarial pool model where a job comes
into the next available person doesn't
matter who can grab the templates
appropriate and the list appropriate to
use that exactly exactly so you can have
multiple people each with their own
instance a book mailer
and in they'll be able to run their own
job
and see you could have four people
running the different all different jobs
in really maximizing the time they have
available to run those
does my job I'll take the next one
whatever it is and yet the information
that I need is all centrally available
yeah in in even within you to those
individual users
you can actually have a single user on a
single machine
opening up multiple instances a book
mailer and so they can actually be
running multiple jobs on a single
machine
really maximizing the time so especially
if you've got a larger dog it's gonna
take a little while for see address
correction to run
you can its open up another instance a
book may learn
start processing that next job setting
up the templates for that next job as
well
know it's a cool point that's on
business only right that is business
only
yup so that right there is actually
kinda useful he think that
you want one or the other scenarios to
keep in mind as we move forward to is
you know what the them poor proposal
scorecard is becoming more and more
important to minor
monitor quality and potentially avoid
assessments doctor wrote threatening to
charge people
right yes so not only do you have to
worry about managing day-to-day
running the jobs getting the mail out
the door on
all those day-to-day activities but
you're also going to need people in the
roll-up
monitoring the scorecard and yes it's
looking at postal service data but you
can have two
when there's there's been reported
you're gonna wanna go back and match
that up to you
the data that you have about that same
job in comparing
make sure that its really cracked and so
you know
there could be an multiple people here
that are also needing to get
in there and look at past jobs and
figure I see what's going on
if you've only got one a seat available
or the machines locked up then you would
be taking time away from your time
you could do mailings then because
somebody's gotta go into auditing
but the machines locked up doing
mailings here you got it
other seat it could open that up be
doing on it was someone else is doing
mailing
cracked by you're right that is gonna be
really important when they start
charging on these assessments
yep and another thing that and in
addition to the template to the jobs
is I is it this actually gives the
opportunity for a single place to assign
your sequence numbers so for those of
you who are on full service you know all
about sequence numbers and how difficult
they are to manage especially if you
only have a certain number
me a radiance and so having a
centralized location where all those me
the sequence numbers are assigned
preacher your mailer ID's book Miller
will actually a book my business will
keep track of all the Miller ID's
across all of your system's are every
everybody who's using that single
business database will be able to keep
track of those and make sure that the
sequence numbers are unique
to saying across instances here so if
you and I are doing mailings of bulk
mailer at the same time we reach when
you get our ID's its gonna keep track

yeah yeah and you don't have to worry
about okay well
you know Susan used dead numbers one
through fifty thousand for her so I have
to make sure that I start with the next
number
and you don't have those collisions
there and that's one of the big points
that I've seen it customer visit you go
there and and folks are
tracking this is a nightmare more makes
it easy lots of Excel spreadsheet yeah
Excel spreadsheets out there was one
company that was tracking them in
notepad and everybody had to check in on
the notepad to make sure that there was
there
may work duplicating yeah yeah us has a
lot easier
yeah yeah you just click a button and it
just as I Korea cell
cats really crane so so talk a little
bit more
about a about users so on
so it like in that previous screen we
saw the four different people who are
all accessing
the database at the same time you will
want to have a
a user for each instance a book mailer
on a different machine so
I'm so if you only have one person is
going to be doing those those jobs then
you would only need one user but hi baby
there is an add-on said that you can
purchase
for the number of users that you wanna
have accessing the database at the same
time
and I in usually we sell those in about
25 user pack see have plenty to work
with
and say you can actually set up each of
these users with different roles
say you have I person who'd be an
administrator could be able to do all
the things inside the book mailer and
manage the user's you've got people who
might just be importing less time may be
running
address correction your people who might
just be printing I am I have someone who
specifically
am just dealing with electronic
documentation so someone who
really all they're going to do is there
going to open up a job and they're gonna
submit
that you doctor to the post office so
you can assign them that role
and then they would be able to just do
that stuff but then book mailer
10 again YouTube these would all be
accessing
the same database with the same mailings
in the same templates
bob we're headed that way with mailing
in general spent this or a
specialization as you're talking about
the roles have split at the
the days of having one person who did
all your mailing for UART that's that's
a hard thing to accomplish now
right beyond with mailings getting much
more complex
your you're absolutely right yeah there
you it's a divide-and-conquer approach
that offering needs to be done
used to be fired forget with mail and
then it was when I unit submit
everything to the USPS and now there's a
return from that the
audit your performance and talks about
how successful your mailing was
somebody's gotta put that information
back in corrector
your information so it's it's much more
complicated and is
yes so
let's talk a little bit more about that
that whole organizing
and contact your cell like I said I
everybody who seek logged into the same
book my business database is gonna be
able to see all the mailings
and all the templates so here I have ice
cream then
that too that I have for for kinda my
jobs that I if that I process
and I and so sure what we have is we
have a couple different features
one is you have the the quick ability to
package up a mailing this is a few
if you really do need to email it so
generally up when you're using book my
business everybody sees in the same
database
see you don't have to email it to you
your coworker but say for example if you
have to add
technical questioning intake email our
support we have a way to package that up
said that ties that you can send it over
another feature that we have here is the
option to archive the mailing
and for for those abuses been using book
Miller for a while you can get used to
the
the Rosen Rosen Rosa mailings on the
home screen
and so the archive mailing is a way for
you to you too can hide that mailing
from view it's still there it's in the
background but it's not quite a ring up
your home screen
in another way to take and organize your
work is using those folders
and those folders are actually gonna be
used throughout your entire company
so one other interesting ways that you
can use folders in the context a book my
business
is you can actually use it as a job
assignment to all
so you could create folders for each
appear in polly's
or you could have them for each of your
processes and so say for example you get
a new job in from a customer
to cut they customer service rep can
import that lest
and then drop it in two day ready for
address correction
folder and then whoever's in charge
address correction there they just live
in that folder they watching the scene
is a job
is is dropped inside that folder they
can pick it up
process it and then drop it into the
next folder through streamlining process
for free yeah yeah and it's it's really
cool because it's just
it just happens automatically so you
could just be watching that folder
you have nothing in that screen as soon
as that person has dropped it in
you see it on your dashboard you're able
to pick it up do what you need to do
and then drop it into the next folder
for the next person so here's an
another way that you can get some in
interesting D-day out a book Miller
business
so what did the de que nos unseen tools
inside of book mailer that also
available in book Miller professional
is the idea of searching so especially
for those of you who have a lot of stuff
going on in your in your home screen or
if you have a lot of mailings they're
organized in your folders
sometimes finding the mailing that you
wanna talk about can be a little bit
tricky
so if you click on the actions button on
the left hand side there's an option
they're called search
and you can search using any turned
could say
it could be the name of the mailing
anything in the description
and which folder it's in mean that
information in book my business you can
also search
for the client so when you create a
mailing your gonna sign the client to
that mailing
and then what you can do you inside the
searches you can search for
the myth that client and then all the
jobs dead
are associated with a client will appear
you also notice that in the screen here
I have sort postage listed
and so what you can do is if you have a
customer who says
how much time they spend in postage last
year you can bring up
the search screen search for that client
and then automatically you can see this
or postage

sequence numbers we've got how do you
manage all this
and I in so with book my business
there's a really easy way
for you to manage your clients and it's
in the manage client section
imagine that so and it was like we
planned it that way
it you know we we try to be as as simple
as possible when it comes to naming
things and and usually that tends to be
the best way to do it
so I am CS there's this whole area where
you can go in
in new condition fine each of your
clients in this is gonna be
all the information about that client
that is just to do with our clients this
is going to be their permit information

that everything's kinda lineup for

their credit help fill in all that
information

they can log in and they would only see

that they know where their mailings
and I and when it's going to be
delivered and as you mentioned we're

options that are available
is are only gonna be applicable to this
client so before
when you were in the mail sir wizard in
you are going through and selecting a
permit you would see
every single permit for every single
client that you have
in your entire company and probably some
ones that are all that you
you know you don't even deal with those
clients anymore
and I so with book my business you have
the opportunity to just narrow it down
to the permits that apply to that client
and that client only and Chris you can
change the claim here so if you
accidentally
assigned the wrong one on the first page
you can select
a different perm a different client here
on the screen in the middle just show
the permits that are associated with
that one so no more long scrolling
on the permit selection page it'll just
show the ones that are applicable to:
and then also again there's that idea of
being able to roll through all the mail
right Easter a sign for that client
or for yourself if you're using the your
mail or ID if you do for some reason
want to go through in
only use a specific me alrighty for a
job you're you really
certainly you wanna meet beam using a
specific me already
then you can go into the advanced
settings in the intelligent mail page
and and select a specific Miller ATT is
for that job
Bob just to be clear what happens if by
break the uniqueness rule
well the penalty at some point in time
in the near future will be law so the

they could over time yes I'm so

and I started running some comparisons
and I did this as clean as I could I
rebooted after each job to make sure

have any other programs running
but and so with the thirty
thousand record lest the results are
pretty similar

fairly you
you know a little bit faster but you
know you're really saving less than a
minute by using book my business
the thing start to get a little bit more
dramatic once you start getting into
that hundred thousand record range
and this is again a very basic list this
was just
names and addresses just running import
address correction and sorting
locally on the machine cells or two
half the time we have it
yeah so I mean be at once you get into
that hundred thousand record range
you start seeing release some some
really quick processing speeds there
with business
and it starts really identifying some
efficiencies there especially again if
you're in that
time crunch you've got the job that
needs to go out today and I in you need
to get
get it through really fast it starts you
start seeing those benefits
even at a hundred thousand records and I
took a a bigger lessnau out seventy
750,000 records for professional is
is kinda stretching that product to its
limit and it definitely shows in the
statistics that we see here at

3n almost three-and-a-half hours I
actually
started the job of at I at about 3:30
here and then I went home because I was
while I did other work before I went
home but it be I was 5 o'clock in the
job was still processing
no tie back to something you said
earlier if you're doing this
monster $750k job on pro
your machines locked up keep your did
its
you're in for the duration at that point
you can start another session no one
else can log in and do it at that point
yeah
you are that's the only thing you're
going to do for the next three hours
yeah in you know you're locked out and
and basically all you're doing is
processing that job
with book my business you could be
sitting there for that
three and a half hours processing your
smaller jobs in the background you have
someone else's processing on their
machine as well
and I and then also your
you're not actually waiting that three
and a half hours less than a third the
time for address correction
yeah yeah so there there are some really
quick efficiency is
they just have to do with the database
that were right reading and writing to:
selling to get all these were were local
and I rebooted after each job to make
sure that we work we were skewing the
numbers at all
$750k that a big mailing but it's not
unheard up by any stretch of the
imagination you know it's it's fairly
common
has at least one of those jobs a year
for for a decent size mail service
provider
cell and its
certainly something you that's a problem
you want yeah I would hope so
I would hope so you know we want to make
sure that our customers
are growing and that their their
customer base is growing in that they're
their capacity to process their jobs is
is increasing so
that's why I think book my business from
those customers that make sense is a is
a really easy decision for them
don't like it wrapped so
the last that last question is how raid
how can you make that jump if your book
Miller professional user
and you've decided that this is released
I a decision that's right for your
company
how would she do that transition between
popular professional unpopular business
so the first step is just installing the
software say you install book Miller
business you would select where you want
that's equal server to reside you might
want it on AIM
on a server machine there on your
network or you may want it on on a
single person's machine
we're not too picky you don't have to
have a special machine dedicated
and only to book my business i how can
even put it on a machine underneath your
desk
yes you can it as evidenced yep so the
next step
is is converting your template so we
don't want you to have to start over
when you start using blackmail her

so we actually have a template converter
and little dealers it'll take all your
templates that you had in book Miller
professional
and it'll move them into the format
that's needed for book now our business
and that included in in there a in the
product there
then the next thing is is if you are
mail service provider
you want to configure your clients you
want to configure your users make sure
that everything set up there
I'm the template converter tries to make
an intelligent choice when it comes to
creating a client's
but you always want to go in and check
right you may wanna call things out at
the time it's her home
and then you just are importing your
last and start using book my business is
your primary email software
you make this sound very painless it
actually really is set as
and installing bulk mailer businesses
pretty straightforward yeah it's it's
very simple it's just the way that you
would normally install Pro
the only difference is you're gonna be
selecting where you want that server to
reside
even bob could do that thanks
the BBQ and yeah and we handle all the
management at the installation of the
database eases that's equal Server
Express back end and so will manage all
that for you
it's all included in that install
package alright

for you if you would like to
up to offer that login information to
your clients that is only available with
business
and kinda cool thing to be offering them
11 other things
you know we've talked about in on our
postal Affairs is over the last couple
months is we've seen
you know that the slowdown in mail
delivery and to
for male owners at it that can be a very
important thing and they want to see
where is my mail and for having that
login for them to be able to go in and
see their own mailing and where
things are at is an and to know that
it's not the mail services provider
yeah admits it was in the mail service
provider that and that's the important
part late your customer comes in stands
at your front counter and says
you know your years you know where's my
mail and USPS is got a slowdown going on
like it does right now we talked about
first-class mail sometimes taking six
days now you're stuck making excuses for
the USPS at that point nobody watched
but if you can point at go see I mailed
your mail now it's in the hands of
mmm the guys with the eagle well and
then if it's important for their male
owner if they see their male stalling
and a particular location
that gives them the ability to didn't
know if they want to pick up the phone
and call and say
what's going on I haven't seen my mail
movement on a leash from local business

into business cuz it's got cool features
that I wanted I need me to grow my
business and growing any way the economy

and highlighted the areas that are
different so it's the client management
it's the date user fee is the user text

interface into the client there the I'm
the login information the user
information so from me
actual mail flow standpoint training
is gonna be almost a non-issue though
the only thing is when you're
on that day to day processing it's gonna
be the selection the client when you're
creating that mailing
and other than that the rest of the

flow the Wizards the selections that you

plus right so it's everything that you

anything I give up by going to business
what's the gotcha
you don't get your check database and
more
it show attached to access yet
some people really are in a you know if
you if you're really
if you if you're really working well
inside a pro and
in need any of the things that we've
talked about today are really calling to
you they're not something that that
really seem like a a good change for you
then
then print business is not going to be a
good fit but there are some compelling
reasons for those companies that are
that are having those problems we've
talked about
I'm not gonna go ahead and quote this
question you guys can jump in now when
appropriate
when I do an SCF or
NDC analysis for drop shipping is there
a way to save the result is a file or to
print them so that I can share the
analysis with the Account Manager
unfortunately no but I will take that

visited

they're ready for they that they have

some restrictions into when they what
time pure they can actually purchase
software
and so but we talked a little bit about
their processes and I'm in the new
amount of volume up jobs that they have
and one of the things that was really a
a big driver for them as they have to
have everything be right
and it has to be right now so yeah I
think everybody can relate to that you
know everything
seem unreasonable you know it has to be
right has to be right now
and so they were they were using broke
my professional
and and so they were having to do a
lotta calling over and asks and saying
hey this jobs ready for variable data
print paid this is ready for
spree sorting and I am and there were a
lot of manual handoffs
which I which would be fine except they
were actually
rapidly expanding their
business and so they had a lot more
clients that we're coming in from
different areas across the country
they had %uh a lotta jobs that were
taking up a lot of time and they have
dead dead general be home
fall milling season rush every single
year
and in you know it was kinda wanted
those were it was a scramble to get
through that in then
after the to fall mailing season they
were able to breathe in Canada
you know casually go home hadn't and you
know talk to their families
and so they were having a lot of
problems with that and I in for them but
Miller business is going to be a really
great fit because they're going to be
able to you
first of all be able to process across
the company
can't manage their their usage in their
flow in a much more streamlined way
and just be able to turn those jobs
around pastor
their mailing software is really the
bottleneck in their entire process
and what the hell book Miller business
its kinase it's gonna be able to
alleviate that
bad bottleneck then they can go on find
another efficiency in another area of
their business but
and the bed it was a really good fit for
them softwares must make a
make our lives easier exactly shouldn't
sit around waiting on the software
