Hi, my name is Veronica Baragas with my wigglesandgiggles.com,
and I'd like to share with you, about home
childcare bookkeeping. First I would start
off with getting you maybe like a one inch
binder and a few pieces of paper, just kind
of write down your expense from head to toe,
whether it be groceries, supplies, home supplies,
cleaning supplies, any advertisement, definitely
have a space for your expenses as well as
your income, a place for receipts, a place
for any drop in care, just kind of write down
everything possible that's involved with your
expenses, and definitely get some dividers,
and just make a section for each one. And
kind of get yourself a little system and what
works best for you as far as keeping track
of every single penny that you spend or get.
And this will just save you in so many ways,
not only that, but it'll be a little more
productive and save you some money in the
end where you can find out, where you're spending
verses how much money you have coming in.
So bookkeeping is the most essential part
of running your home childcare, whether you
are registered or not, licensed or an official
business, it'll just be very well for your
finances and help you in every aspect that
you can possibly think of. So just try as
simple as a one inch form with a couple of
notebook papers and just document everything
that you have.
