what's up everybody it's real touch
Gmail here and today we're going to be
doing a little bit more a batch
programming in notepad and right off the
bat actually if you saw my other
tutorials on notepad you will notice
that i was actually using notepad within
windows
now this is notepad plus plus it's just
basically notepad on steroids
so i'll leave a link in the description
you can download it's free
it is very very handy and I recommend
using it if you are a language here you
can supply it like a language show a
highlight stuff and all that stuff so
yeah I'm just going to click back here
because we are using batch so yeah I'm
gonna start off so i'm gonna stay at
echo off and what we're gonna be doing
is we're making a password generator so
yeah pretty simple and you can do a lot
with it
so I'm gonna say title equals or not i'm
just going to say title password
generator
ok and that will set the title of the
window and now i'm going to say is echo
password generator so I want to make
like a little menu here at go and then
just use them like this and I'm gonna
say one generate password
to exit will just make it very simple
and above this I'm gonna actually put
this into a class so i'm just going to
say menu and at the top of this acls now
CLS actually clears the screen so it's
completely blank
so if i'm going to save this real quick
so save as desktop and i'm just going to
call it PG for password generator and
i'm going to go to run here press run
choose what I want to run which is the
PG right there
and oh we have to put a pause in there
and there we go
so it says password generator generate
password exit and so now what we're
going to do is I'm gonna say set input
equal set /p input equals will just say
choice and then now we're gonna have
some if statements if percent input
percent and put percent equals equals 1
we're going to go to PG are no g be so
generate password and then i'm going to
say if % input.text % eat equals equals
to exit
so that's very simple right there so now
i'm going to go ahead and make the P the
GP GP and is a CLS right off the bat
MSA echo password equals are now
password generated percent random
percent
and I'm say echo 1 go back
echo to exit and actually right here i'm
gonna put echo
remember remember to write down the
password and we're going to posit here
so now and then we can a turn-on sorry
then we'll just say set input again
equal to set /p input equals choice
just the same thing if % % input on one
go to menu if % % input.text was to go
to and off this exit now let's run it
and generate password or exit we get to
and it doesn't work it doesn't work
spaces out here that's why we get to it
exits
we hit one password generated 18 to 55
remember to write down password and you
can go one two go back
they generate again now it's a different
one 108 four three two exit
so that's very very basic but you can do
a lot of stuff with this as upset in all
my other batches Orioles you can do a
lot of stuff with this and it's not
quite making like games and stuff but
just making cool things like this like
generating passwords and all that
stuff's going to like and subscribe
