How To Make Custom Icons on Ipad for FREE

This shows how to make custom icons for bookmarks using the ipad and the website

You can force Safari to look at a website and use a picture form another website to make a custom bookmark icon on your ipad

i will show you guys today is how to
make icons for bookmarks that you sent
to your home screen and we do this on
the apple safari kind of makes a picture
your web page i'm sure to make Willens
here at the bottom of the screen I've
got three examples 1-4 data direct one
for google just 1 for his angle
they all look really nice it looks like
Apple icons but those are actually
pictures that I pulled and force the
fire to use when they did my bookmark
now for those who don't know when you
use safari
you can send a bookmark to your homepage
up here at the top little square with an
arrow in it add bookmark at the home
screen
if you click the add the home screen
what you're going to do is you're going
to a little icon
whatever you name it and that little
icon is going to appear on your home
screen
the only lamb thing is it kind of forces
you can choose a picture you want I mean
too far to use it for you
i'm gonna show you how you can pick what
picture you want to use under somebody
back to Safari and i'm going to go to
website that will do this for me it's
soft - use . com / webclip icons / and
this will be in the description
now here at the top there's two boxes
icon URL web URL icon is the picture web
is the website you want to make a
bookmark up we're going to get to
website addresses one is the one we want
to bookmark the other one is the picture
we're going to use the one we want to
bookmark is easiest to do at first I
want to bookmark that last pages on
so if you're at the top and select all
of that i'm going to copy it and then we
go back to that other page and i'm going
to paste it
so I was the website i want to bookmark
of the icon
we use google and we're gonna find a
picture and we're going to use that
picture as the icon you're all google
here and you can pick pretty much any
picture you want as long as its square
shaped some search geometry geometry has
a lot of cool pictures and up here
images
I want to see the images and it doesn't
matter which one to pick
oh I like this one so i click on it and
then you get this page here with all
sorts of stuff on the right here it says
full-size image because i don't want all
the first I just want the image to click
full-size image i get the image and more
importantly you've got the address of it
so if you're at the top again slight
double tap select all copy go back to
this page and in the icon URL paste it
there you go you have the picture you
want to use the website you want to make
a bookmark and we're going to customize
web clip
basically you're going to force safari
to look at this website and that picture
when you make a bookmark
now we'll make a bookmark we're not done
yet we haven't actually made the
bookmark
so from this page I'm going to add it to
my home screen
there's my picture
let's rename this math class and keep it
keep it 13 letters or less because it'll
get truncated to get some dots and then
look very nice and then I'll add and
there I have a pretty icon that goes to
my math class
