and in this video I'm going to show you
guys how to customize any icon whether
it be the ones from Apple whether it be
ones implemented by cydia from a theme
you'll be able to customize it
now this is a video I've been wanting to
make for a long time as you know when I
use my iphone 5 it's got my theme on it
and now this is done by slightly
Hardaway then i'm going to show you
today it's just so much easier
and with this tweak these icons I've
made are basically that i've imported
the ones i like into Photoshop and then
I've gray scale down and then set the
opacity to around ten percent done a
bear finishing just to make them look
and a little bit more glossy are and and
then imported and ssh them back into the
device so they called PNG's so i'm not
using winterboard but what you can see
is it doesn't take away from the wall
paper if you have a nice background
wallpaper
it's nice to have these transparent
icons because you can still see the
wallpaper yet you can still see these
functioning pretty apps which is
obviously going to make it a lot easier
to click and it just looks great
so again this is a video been wanting to
make but I didn't want to go into the
whole photoshop thinkers
some people get it some people just want
a quick fix well this is a quick fix
with the design you guys 1 plus more
so all you need to do of course is the
device in spilled your jailbroken if
you're not jailbroken i have easy
tutorials on my channel
you need to make your way to cydia this
is a brand-new tweak you need to click
on search top bar and then type in
athena a th en a ok
athena and i click on that it's 99 cents
that's all it costs and to be honest and
I'm not be a fan of buying tweaks but
this one does the major customizing all
icons so it's it's well worth it all you
need to do
of course its top right-hand bun and
purchase via paypal or amazon and then
install once installed all you need to
do is go into settings and scroll down
at once again this is going to be
supported by ipad ipod touch iphone all
running iOS 6 all the way to 6.1 . 3
of course if the device is jailbroken
so you'll see a thing out right down
here after you can settings then general
and this is how to set it up to having
transparent icons so this is what you
need to copy to have the icons that I
have
so all you need to do is that toggle on
the set color scheme go to color scheme
and make sure it's set to clear come
back out that then we want to set the
intensity and I've already moved it so
this is already pre-done because i was
testing this
it's set to about seventy eighty percent
then we want to set blend mode on
click into blend mode and make sure that
it's set to saturation
ok guys so we come back out of that then
we want to click on set alpha and again
it's around 70-80 eighty percent so that
is the setup for clear icons hit every
spring
and we can slide to unlock and there you
go
the icons are grayed out and they're
also transparent so obviously the
wallpaper that I've got my pad is not as
funky as the 1 i've got my iphone 5
but again the whole point of this design
is that if you have a nice pretty
background then obviously it doesn't
take away from that it's great out and
it's transparent shade that is
transparent
so once again it's just real simple and
easy way to customize icons
now not only does it do that i've done
that because that's the question that I
get asked most but you can also do a
whole load of other things obviously i
wanted to show you that one but there's
so many more color schemes you can
choose and and there's so many gradients
of so if you could choose a color or
design then you can start messing around
with the gradients in the saturation
sky's the limit basically by wanted to
make this a quick short video obviously
when you get it you can mess around with
it a lot more
