Episode 1: Klondike (Card Game)

In this episode Alberto shows you how to play the popular game Klondike. Not a lot of people know this game as Klondike and usually call it Solitaire. That's why Alberto calls it this in the video. However, he mentions in future videos that he forgot to mention this game as Klondike, but puts it in the description of this video. Klondike is just one of the many solitaire games that Alberto will upload, however, he knows we get bored with friends so, he'll have videos pertaining to games that involve two or more people in the future as well. on today's episode we're gonna be
playing one of my favorite games that
includes a lot of strategy and you know
what
it only takes one player to play which
means you can play it by yourself and
all you need is that carbs
welcome to board games place where you
guys can find games and stuff like that
when you're bored and can also try them
out as well especially if you have the
equipment on today's episode we're gonna
be playing a card game which is awesome
applied by yourself or with the
accompaniment of your friends
the card game is pretty famous you may
actually have played it before but may
not know what it's called
or you may know what it's called but may
be called it differently
I has various names such as patients and
solitaire
so i'll teach you guys how to set up the
game and then i'll teach you guys how to
play the game
let's go over to the playing field
all right because of our strict budget
we're going to have to use an ironing
will hurt as are playing field so I'm so
sorry but it's good enough
so if you have an ironing board or any
table or any flat surface can even play
on the floor
many of the pack of playing cards you
guys can be able to set up the game
let me move the camera and we'll be able
to see how I set up how to play and play
solitaire
ok so here is the set up to the game of
solitaire
as you can see i have cards that are not
in order so that's what you need and you
need one single deck with all 52 cards
in there except to make sure you take
out the Joker's in any of the other
stuff again i'm playing with a bicycle
deck but you guys can play with whatever
oh my gosh that was very poor shuffle oh
my gosh what a family want to fail
sorry I'm sorry you know our deal here

ok we're going to just put all that
stick some of that
now you know just shuffle it have fun
have fun okay so now we have our
shuffled deck
what we want to do is going to put them
in seven columns 3 4 5 6
I don't know if you guys can see each
and every single one of the columns
one two three four one two three four
five six so we need seven
now each and every single column will
have according to its number that's how
many cards they will have so the first
column the first column will have one
card
second , have two cards third , have
three cards and then so on
all right
and the remaining cards will then be
placed
I guess on top of the pack you will
wherever else
now each and every single card will then
be faced up up on the first card on each
and every single pile will be face up
ok and that's pretty much your set up
the rest of the cards are here you have
a home field here and i'll tell you guys
a little bit of what about that is and
the how to play a part of the game
so let's get down to that alright so now
we've set up our cards are pacts are
piles are our columns whatever you want
to call it
and now we need to know how to play how
do we play
ok as you guys can see here we have some
red cards a couple red cars and a lot of
black cards vote
you know you'll usually have black and
red cards are sometimes you might have a
block if it's not that good but this is
how you play
what you need to do is get into the home
field which I said was going to be here
in ascending order so you're going to
have the place first
all four suits in each and every single
pack of playing cards I don't know if
what type of car do you have but if
they're like a you know poker playing
cards or any type of course that you can
that has these four suits the club's the
hearts the diamonds and the spades
you'll be able to you'll be you'll be
able to have 13 cards in each of the
suits from ranging from Ace to King
so what you want to do is get these
cards such as like let's say the ACE you
want to put them on the home field in
the home field you will then place
another card on top in ascending order
in each suit
now how will you do that like you saw me
do hear you I have to unveil a a column
or a pack or a card
so that i can flip it over now it's not
just the Aces I can do that I can also
move different cards two different piles
so the reason why I can move a 3 2 a 4
is because you have to build columns in
descending order
going from a higher cards such as a
queen if I have a jack
it would then be there are the jack will
have to be on the Queen and not the
Queen on the jack
the other twist to this game is that you
must have different colors so this -
since they are the same color as the
three cannot be on top of it and that is
not a good turn and will not you know
will not be a legal to do what you can
do that because the three is a different
color than the four and it is in
descending order so that is how you play
solitaire
now you guys can go and watch me play
solitaire I guess now I guess we can
play it now
what's up guys i just finished playing a
game
I recorded it and in my battery died so
i have this game again
so I'm very sorry so let me set this up
very quickly
I've got shuffled the cards i can't
believe it i beat the game too and I was
like oh my gosh yes and I , card
my my my battery died and so I just
charge it and that's why it looks a
little bit dim now so I'm going to reply
hopefully I can win again

flipping the cards one by one or you can
flip three at a time to make it the hard
ground or just two cards to make it
slightly harder for you not to are not
too easy just like a normal mode
I mean if you insist arm so you can do
that in play when you run out of moves
that's when you lose
okay and hopefully I don't know how to
move this time so we got three of
diamonds
that looks good oh that's that's a nice
one on a black Queen black mean for my
king of hearts there
