Migrating from Sql Server to Mysql

This video describes how we can migrate form Sql Server to Mysql RDBMS using Mysql workbench. I've uesd Sql server as source RDBMS and Mysql as Target RDBMS and PhpMyAdmin tool to view Mysql Database contents.

hi this is secant this video I'm going
to show you how to transfer data base
from microsoft SQL server to my school
now we are transferring not only the
scheme of the database but also died in

this process is called migration in this

result and clicking on the start
migration will start the process we need
to set the source or DBMS in this case
source is Microsoft's school said well
and the driver that we are using is
already bc native and the server is .
which means that local username meet ACA
and the password
no click on next we need to select
target or DBMS in this case target or
DBMS is my school i'm running mysql let
localhost my username is rule and my
password I'll get in here click ok click
Next in this screen it will connect to
source dbms and now these are already
available databases in the source dbms
as we have discussed earlier we are
trying we are trying to migrate is Adam
database from Microsoft this culture
what is good so i'm selecting with their
own database now we are connecting to
source dbms reverse-engineering selected
schema and post-processing of reverse
engineering schema which means that
connecting to microsoft SQL server and
we have generating scripts of the schema
and we are processing the script we can
migrate table objects view objects 13
objects
we can see no migration problems found
and there are no warnings which is very
good and now we are creating target dbms
schemas
