to this page and they press subscribe or
whatever the word says they will be

if you don't choose to set it up there
it can just go to a standard thank you
page after they opt in here and that
says be sure to check your your your
your email check your inbox for
information from us to get your report
something like that but if you have the
follow-up fortune setup and obviously
you're going to need to know how to
create our edit a web page ad about
paypal or alertpay or whoever you use
add a payment button and uploaded to
your site you're gonna have to have a
domain name and you have to have hosting
then that goes into a little bit more

convert so there's no reason in and
trying to fix something that's not
broken and then down here this is where

from you after they buy and they
successfully pay they will be redirected
to hear that thank you page already done
there's nothing you need to do on this
page actually besides put your name and
put your website here your domain name

how to upload them to your autoresponder

ok now obviously there's a lot of other
ones out there I contact get responds uh
I think traffic wave there's quite a few
out there
I like aweber I've always use them i
think that they're the best and it's
just easy i've looked at other ones they
just seem to make the process of getting
set up a lot more difficult than it
needs to be
i'm going to show you how to code your
squeeze page and i'm going to show you a
little bit of how to edit your reseller
web site we won't get into doing the
payment button and last but not least if
this is beyond the scope of of your
abilities meaning to put up a website
and and do a little editing of your
website and coded payment button then do
the whole autoresponder thing then load
all the messages and edit all 52
messages we do offer a done-for-you

we do in 24 hours or less but in this
case we'll have a 72 hour turnaround
ok so let's take a look at what's
involved or what's in the follow-up
fortunes package now when you would
originally download this will come in a
zip folder like this
ok pull that down so you can see a
little better it's just a zip folder if
you right-click on the folder and select
'extract all or if you use something
like 7-zip or winzip you can come over
here and extract the files to your

over here and if we open it up and take

we can see all the pieces we've got our

showed you right here and I'll show you
how we edit that a little bit
we've got your reseller web site we've
got your free report which I will show
you and that is rebranding as you can
see up here comes with a rebrand ER to
install on your computer very simple and
then you can rebrand this report each
folder if you notice each folder has a
readme file inside of it and i would
suggest that you read that first it's
just a little a few notes that I that
i've included that I thought were
pertinent to the folder so you're going
to want to take a second to to read that
little text document very simple we got
your ads to promote your website and
i've included a lot of them there's a
lot of ads here quite a few there's
about do I think 10 classified ads and
then there's some longer sponsor ads
that maybe if you wanted to use those on
traffic exchanges I'm sorry safe list or
something like that if you're going
do some solo ads or and feel free to
edit these messages or use them as they
are but you've got a lot of stuff right
here to get yourself going so the

around a long time and most things
always leave something to be desired and

that we thought that you need to get
going immediately once you set this

start using these emails are these

to come back to that what we're going to
do right now is we're gonna jump over to
a weber right I'm going to show you how
to do this on my Aweber account
ok so let's jump over here and I've kind
of close the screen down a little bit
because I obviously have a lot of
sensitive information like lists and
names and different things like that and
obviously i don't want to share that
with everybody so I've kinda close the
screen down I will open it up a little
bit in a second so the first thing you
do when you log into aweber or whoever
you use there's going to be a link
somewhere where you can create a new
campaign
ok cuz that's what it is you can have
multiple campaigns within your
autoresponder so that i'm going to do
that first i'm going to create here so
i'm going to click that link and that's
going to take me to another page i'm
going to scroll down a little bit open
this up so you can see and for my
purposes today we're going to create a
new list so i'm going to go ahead and
click that and that's going to take me
to another page I'm going to X that out
of the way as we don't need it
okay so listen name what we want to name
this list i could leave it at default
but then I'm not going to really know
what it means
so I could just say follow-up loops
follow-up fortunes right fortune right
and and you'll know that there's there's
only X amount of characters that you can
get in here
then if that list name is available it's
kind of like a domain name you have to
figure out another another name of your
list that's unique that either you or
nobody else within the aweber system is
using now I don't know maybe get
response or eye contact doesn't function
like that but Aweber certainly does
so I found something that works it says
the listings available so i'll leave it
at that
at a glance I'll know what that's for or
what list this is this description
I don't need I don't need you can skip
over that you're from name now you can
do
oh I could do follow-up fortunes right
this will be the name that people will
see when they get an email from you
follow up fortunes or i can just do my
name it's up to you and then of course
your email address is going to do Frank
it Frank Jones dotnet ok now this email
address now when people get emails from
you when they get these follow-up emails
if they reply
they're gonna they're gonna you're going
to receive emails at this email address
of somebody replies to you so make sure
that you use an email address where
you'd want to receive emails from ok so
don't use a junk e-mail or anything like
that and that's really about it i'm
going to scroll down to the bottom here
real fast
skip over here and come up and really
there's a couple other things up here at
the top like website URL mogul URL email
signature you don't really need any of
that stuff because the only time they
see any of that is if they were opting
out and so if they're opting out it
doesn't really matter does it
so we can skip over that so we'll scroll
down to the bottom though and I usually
skip
over the social media sharing thing I
don't even mess with it it's something
new it's not gonna make or break you one
way or the other so i skipped that over
notifications however i do fill out i
want to be notified each time somebody
option to buy squeeze page and so in
order to do that I need to give them an
email address where i want to receive
these notifications so I'm just gonna
say Frank Frank Jones done that again
and I could call this follow-up fortunes
so I know right and i can click Add ok
and it's been successful we scroll down
here i'm going to save these lists
settings
ok and I'm going to go on to step two
and now i will expand the page because
now all the sensitive data stuff we are
past now
ok so on this page we've got the
confirmed opt-in and if you don't know
what confirmed opt-in is it's also known
as a double opt-in now let's think about
this logically for a second if we come
back over here to the squeeze page and
somebody comes to your squeeze page and
they put their name and email address in
the box and they click send or
subscriber submit or whatever it says
they may be redirected and i'm sure
you've run across this yourself if
you've ever opted into anything where it
says you're here
the process is almost complete now we
need you to go back to your email
address and click the confirmation link
inside an email that's called a double
opt-in you've opted in once over here
and now you've got to go back to your
email and get that confirmation email
and click a link within their and often
again basically say yes for the second
time I'd like to receive your
information now that's a good on the
surface that's a good system but here's
the reality of that system
the reality is is that most people
will not go and click that second email
or it'll get lost in their spam folder
or they'll forget or any number of
reasons they'll get busy and they'll
never come back and click that
confirmation email and if they never
click that confirmation email
guess what they'll never get your
follow-up messages so and I've done a
test on this about eight months ago and
we saw that there was dramatic
difference in activity if we only did a
single opt-in which means that once they
often to the squeeze page that's it
the system automatically start sending
out your messages so I turn this off by
default it's on and i turn it off so
that way soon as they put their name and
email address into my squeeze page and
click Submit they automatically receive
my messages there on the list and
they're getting my messages
ok so that's that that's really not the
most to it i guess if you kept this on
then you want to edit this confirmation
message but when you turn it off you
don't need to worry about it i must save
the list settings
ok and now we'll come back up to here
and we'll go to messages and select
follow-up now obviously you can see
right here we've got no messages but
they're really easy to add so I'm going
to add a message
this will be message number zero not
message number one message number 0
this email will immediately go out
immediately go out as soon as they
opt-in that the system will send it to
them within about 10 minutes or less
so obviously this first email is should
be something to the effect of thank you
for subscribing
ok and i like to personalize it's all
say thank you for subscribing name so
whatever name they put in the form right
whatever name they put into the
squeeze page will be the name that the
system will use so thank you for
subscribing and or thank you for
subscribing John Doe if they put their
last name in there to personalization is
nice is spelled subscribing around
personalization is nice so there's
nothing wrong with that
and in the body of the of the ad there's
two there's two ways you can go with
this now if you notice there's an HTML
message version up here and if I scroll
down there's a plain text message
version down here i like to use the
plain text versus the HTML
why because you never know how somebody
has their email setup whether they can
see images or what features are turned
on or turned off in their email accounts
and so your HTML message if it comes
thru might not come through the way you
wanted to come through so that could
drastically affect the effectiveness of
of the email so I always stick to just
using plain text messages that way no
matter what people get my message
exactly the way I intended them to
receive it
ok now the only other option is if you
absolutely positively have to use HTML
you do an HTML version and then you come
down here you do a plain text version so
that way you can get them one way or the
other
me I just stick with the plaintext and
for demonstration purposes that's what
we're gonna do today we're just gonna
stick with the plain text option so you
could say uh again this is just to thank
you for subscribing email so it doesn't
really have to say anything its it can
be basically just one little paragraph
of content so high and again I'll use
personalization right here input name
and comma you know thank you for
subscribing to follow-up fortunes
right . out of da right just a couple
just a small paragraph and at the end
you know you could say your partner in
success or whatever cell or whatever a
indian you want to use right Frank Jones
and then you probably want to put your
your website address now when you're
using plain text
it's important that you use the HTTP
right you can't just say www but the
HTTP / / www.youravon.com main here .
com right whatever your domain name is
and that's it that's all you really need
for a thank you message now these 52
messages right do not include that that
thank you and i think i do mention that
in this readme file that you should
create a thank you message just makes
sense but if you don't want to you don't
have to you can just start off with
message number one if you really wanted
to but you know it's kind of nice to do
a thank-you email first
ok so you do it like that and you come
down here and you know i usually on
1-click track clicks on website links
because sometimes it changes the URL and
it makes it look funky and and I don't
know about you but sometimes if a if a
URL looks funky you don't know where
it's going you don't know if it's going
to spam or what it might put on your
computer so sometimes i just
$FULLPHONENUM i'd leave that alone so
they can see a real URL i don't like to
do all that masking and in tinyurl type
of stuff so I'm click that all the time
and then i'll go ahead and save the
message then I'll take a minute to load
and there we go
so it says message number one interval 0
that means it's it used its getting sent
out immediately
ok click tracking is off if it was at a
high spam thing and tell you that it was
high for spam and you can click that and
it can tell you what to do
to lower your spam score because that is
important because you don't want to end
up in the end up in a spam folder and
then now you're ready to start loading
the 52 messages now we're not going to
go over all of them of course we're
going to go over one because once we go
over one it's all the same so i'm going
to go ahead and open up message number
one and we take a look at it and we see
the subject line right clever classified
copywriting that sells every time so I'm
going to grab the headline or a subject
line on the select copy gonna come over
here i'm going to add a new follow-up
message and i'm going to drop it over
here paste
ok not going to do any personalization
on that i'm going to scroll down to play
text message and then I'm going to come
back over here and we have the rest of
this and grab the rest of it and i'm
going to right click and copy
I don't need this anymore so i can close
it
I'm gonna come over here drop my cursor
in the box select paste and as you can
see there's a a white side and a blue
side to make your emails look nice and
formatted you don't want to have your
your your words spot going over to the
into the blight blue that's why it says
recommended with you want to stop at the
White you can see the messages are
already set up that they're within the
parameters they need to be ok now here
comes to editing part if anything we
would call this the most difficult
aspect honestly and it's not it's just a
little bit tedious and a little bit time
consuming but not a big deal
so really what you want to do is just
want to read over this you know you
received the top tips online profit
course from lord herbert obviously your
name is not lord herbert so you'd say
i'll say Frank Jones or John Doe and
Smith or whatever your name is okay and
that's it down here
blog there's nothing you need to change
in this country in this text here if you

so it's kind of nice to have to go
through all of them i see down here at

follow-up fortune so obviously you want
to replace it with your link and then we
and it's obviously explaining something
that we're talking about and I can see
that we have the Lorentz email address
in here obviously you want to change it
to your email address other than that
there's no editing the whole body of
this at the end you got your ending you
want to change put your name here
instead of Laurens and if you're
promoting follow fortunes or if you're
promoting something else whatever you
put that right here okay and again this
was this little paragraph is promoting
that followed fortunes again so if you
were doing that you change this URL so
it's your domain name
I see there are some typos here so I'm
just going to right-click and fix that
typo notable quotable probably late at
night when i did this and you believe
the notable quotable alone and down here

part this is where whatever products

promote whatever it is you can list them

going to say zero i wanted to go out
immediately
so in this case when they opt into the
squeeze page they're going to receive
your thank-you email and this very first
follow-up email immediately so message
number 0 and i'm going to unclick click
are tracking clicks and i'm going to say
the message ok so we've got our second
message in there you can see that the
interval 0 right now if we came back
over here let's get rid of that we came
back over here we did a new follow-up
message which in this case would be 0
follow-up message number two right we go
ahead and copy the subject and copy and
paste the body of the email in there and
this time we set the interval so it's
seven days apart from message number two
and then everyone after that we'll be
set for seven days after and that's how
you get your 52 weeks one message a week
you don't need to bombard people with
emails you don't need to do that a
anytime somebody anytime I often is
something and someone is sending me an
email almost like every other day I
usually opt out because it's just
overkill
it's overkill you can't be sent
something that important that you have
to hammer people to three times a week
one that message once a week for a whole
year you can be sure after a whole year
of building relationship with somebody
you are going to have people if you have
products worth part worth buying
you're going to have somebody purchase
from you it's just bitch just math it's
a numbers game definitely if you have
decent product so you don't need to have
are these people with a bunch of
messages all the time
keep it spread out now obviously it's up
to you how you want to do that it's just
my uh professional suggestion to you
alright so once you've got all your
messages loaded now you have to come
over and create that little opt-in box
the box that has the name email and
submit button so we come over here to
webforms click web forms and obviously
we don't have a web form created yet so
i'm going to click create web form all
right
and for a weber it's kinda cool because
you have all these choices of different
boxes i like to keep it simple
I don't like to use these boxes i
personally think they're little cheesy
they look a little bush league to me and
so i'll just come over here of the
popular and I'll just grab the basic the
basic it's got a transparent background
so that means i can lay it on top of any
color and I delete the header out of
there because I don't need that extra
space my generally delete that we
respect your email privacy out of there
just because I don't need the space but
you can leave it in there that's fine so
i'll delete the powered by aweber
because I don't need to promote them and
i'm going to delete out this extra
footer space i guess if you have other
things to say on the bottom up on the
top you leave it but this sweet page
says everything that you need to say so
there's no reason to add any extra on
the onto this opt-in box so I've got the
opt-in box the web the way I want if I
wanted to change this these words mr.
submit I could say subscribe right or
get in now or whatever term you want to
use and that's set and I go ahead and
save the form that should only take a
second to save the form which it did i'm
going to scroll down and I'll go to step
2 and then you can name your web form
people don't see this i usually just
leave it at that but if you want to name
it you can call it followed fortunes so
a glance when things come in you'll know
what it is and then you got your Thank
You page think of the thank you page and
already subscribe page as a redirect
page right and so that's basically
saying when they opted to this squeeze
page here and they click in this case

where do you want them to go where do
you want these people to go where you
want the system to send them after they
opt into this page now we already talked
about this at the beginning of the video
we want to send them here to your
follow-up fortunes page right that makes
the most logical sense especially if
you're from if you have your reseller
web site setup
it only makes sense to send them here so
if we come back over here we can select
a custom page right which is what it
would be custom page would be your the
domain name that goes to or URL that
goes to your follow fortunes and this is
an arse are I would say I'll do ours so

right i'm just going to copy that and
i'm going to put it down here at the
already subscribe page what they already
subscribed means is if somebody comes
back to your page again because they
they lost they could they forgot how to
get over to that that secondary page or
something like that their computer
closed out the screens so if they come
back and often again right even though
the system a weber will know they're
already subscribed but instead of
telling them instead of denying them
access because they're already
subscribed it will go ahead and direct
them to where you want to go anyway so
you can just go ahead and get your
information and that makes logical sense
say so we'll do that i'll press save and
that's only take a second we'll go over
here to step three which is to publish
and this is where we get our little
piece of code and we can do it two
different ways you can do the long raw
HTML version or you can do the quick and
easy version which is the java snip
which is what you want to do
alright grab that java code select copy
write this we're going to get into a

microsoft frontpage before I open this
up i use microsoft frontpage to edit my
uh to do my HTML editing it's old school
program it's probably really hard to
find anymore unless you probably find on
eBay or something like that I just like
it are there better ones out there
absolutely is adobe dreamweaver better
probably but it works for me and I don't
need to spend five hundred dollars or
four dollars whatever it is for adobe
dreamweaver to do what I need to do this
has worked for me for years so I leave
it so if you don't want to spend any
money or not a lot of money on an HTML
editor there's definitely cheap ones out
there and there's definitely free ones
out there I know there's one called
coffee cup that they offer free and a
paid version so if you don't have an
HTML editor you could do a google search
for coffee cup and go ahead and download
their free software and if you like it
and I think and you want to upgrade and
spend the 49 or 79 or whatever they
charge then go ahead and upgrade
otherwise just use the free version so
i'm going to right click on this i'm
gonna select edit and what that's going
to do is it's going to pull it up on my
frontpage let me minimize the screen
down a little bit so it fits in the
viewing window for you okay
and so now we're the editing feature in
the design phase of it you can see down
here it says design split code in
preview i just want to see the code i
could click code and i will need to use
that aspect of it if I wanna just do a
what-you-see-is-what-you-get type of
editor for doing the words then this is
the page I want to be on so down here
the first thing I'm gonna do is change
this to Frank Jones
and then i'm going to change it to black
because I definitely don't want to be in
that color so we got black and then
obviously our URL would be auto
responder gold mine . com
ok and then now we need to drop that
coat and so what I'm gonna do is I'm
gonna just backtrack this out
leave my cursor flashing their i'm going
to go ahead and hit code and as you can
see the cursor is still flashing right
here right so I'm going to put my cursor
over it and i'm going to select paste
and as you can see it drop that
JavaScript code right into their you see
where it says Aweber right there
it dropped the code so if i go over here
to preview there we go now we got the
opt-in box the squeeze pages done very
simple so as you can see everything
we've done although i'm always
long-winded in the videos taken me a
long time if I wasn't doing the video i
could have these things done in and in
no time flat

much to it so that's it

the date definitely shows up right there

like I said I wouldn't change any of the

definitely then you come over here and
you do your paypal button or your
alertpay button and install that they're

that's up to you i don't think you need
to i would suggest it but ultimately
it's your deal so if you want to if you
think you can get more in it and it's
selling for more then go for it if you
try to sell it for more and it doesn't
well change the price Lord back down you
can always test it absolutely and then
down here at the bottom you put your
name again
and your website URL domain in url all
the same thing
ok and then you hit save and you upload
that that's done and then over here
we've got to thank you page right that's
where they go after they've purchased so
they can download it
well this is already coded right if you
look down here at the bottom below this
design split cold and preview when I
mouse over it you can see it says follow
fortunes download . zip
well if we look in this folder there's
that there's the whole download right
there so you just make sure that you do
upload the zip folder when you upload
the rest of your website and then it's
already there
you don't have to do anything so all you
have to really do on this is just change
your change the name add your name and
change the website URL that's it
save it uploaded it's done so honestly
the package is very very complete but
it's not complicated it's not
complicated at all it's very easy to do
but like i said at that is beyond the
scope of what you can do we do offer a
done-for-you service where either myself
or Lauren will put your package online
within 72 hours
everything's done from that point all
you have to do is get out there and
start advertising it and start driving
traffic whether you're doing safelist
traffic exchange and squeeze pages are
always good for traffic exchanges and
say flis so it's already set up real
good for that classified ads social
networking whatever you want to do paid
advertising there's a million ways a
million directions you can take this
thing if you start getting serious about
it and start thinking about them
thinking outside the box and most
importantly doing something actually
doing something instead of letting it
sit
so again this is a great package I know
