Classic Game Room presents a CGR Comics review of Solitaire issue #1 from Malibu Comics published in November, 1993. Solitaire is like a cross between Batman and Wolverine. He beats up street punks, pimps and drug dealers while also regenerating health when they shoot him. Solitaire wears purple because that's how he rolls. In this issue Solitaire fights King Pleasure while being stabbed in the eye with car keys, rock!

93 this is back when I was in high
school I remember the shift from
Marvel and DC over to a lot of the
smaller publishers
to start to put out edgier stuff but was
it is good was it as well written
are well illustrated let's take a look
here at solitaire
where guess wasn't a mother all traverse
comics I do remember the guy
we never met he's like a cross between
Batman and Wolverine
and he wears purple and light blue he
fights crime industry
dogs in particular in Los Angeles
and as you can see the paper quality and
overall look and feel the book is very
early nineties were a lot of the art in
this period
look like a cross between Todd McFarlane

anyway here's the main bad guy King
pleasure what's a bad guy name sounds
like he likes to have fun and
his pleasure dome is filled with drugs
and sex slaves chained to his throne
King pleasure who I think looks a lot
like Steven Seagal from hard to kill
from from that period he likes drugs and
girls and also
Aero the Acrobat for the Sega Genesis
and Super Nintendo
well the artworks not too bad love your
missed period just feels like a copy of
Jim Lee in time MacFarlane not terribly
inspired like the artist for just told
what to do copy Jim Lee Ann Todd
McFarlane
the rating is a ratings terrible was
just religion Eric
as if other writers were handed an
assignment to rate a really
generic bed early nineties comic book
fortunately the edger awesome although I
don't think you'd see this one anymore
you won't find a toy like this in a
cracker jack box that a gun
for lethal enforcers on Sega CD which by
the way is an amazing game
anyway to make a long story short salter
beats the crap outta the bad guys but
not before he shot several times instead
in the eye with a car key
but he doesn't really take any damage
because as he says I'm hard to hurt
make this is his catchphrase I'm hard to
hurt
michigan won the game cam I'd pass on
this one unless you find it for free or
have a have a thing for the early
nineties style but I've got a glass a
