TagSparker is a lightweight tag-based text reader.
It can help you record your ideas, mark the important paragraphs ,
add extra information with indexable styled tags when reading.
The tags of TagSparker are powerful. All Tags are indexable and have their
own "control-range". The control-range of these tags can include, intersect with, or even
duplicate each other as you like. So a text block may belong to many tags in different
levels logically. With the powerful tags, you can use TagSparker in many ways, some examples:
You can create your own tag-based catalog for text file with it.
You can restructure the text file with the indexable tags.
You can also use TagSparker to stylize(change color, font
style etc.) your text file only. The default style of
the whole file and the styles applied to the part you are interested in can be set separately.
TagSparker is Safe to be used. It is Clean and Portable.
The text file will not be modified in any case!
In fact, tag-data was saved in separate file with the same prefix
at the same directory, easy to be shipped.
Only the tag-data you have created was saved into the tag-file.
TagSparker extracts nothing from the original text file to tag-file.
And the portable version for windows do not touch the registry.
TagSparker can remember last working position and save the default style for each tag file before you close the text file.
You can search in text or tags-text with TagSparker. The keyword inputted will be
completed automatically. It is a good idea to build a index with the
search box.
Using UTF8, TagSparker can read any character in the
world. Local encoding is also supported.
TagSparker is very small (the size of binary for each platform is less than 300k).
TagSparker is a cross-platform software. Windows and Linux are both supported now. Mac and other operating systems are in roadmap.
