Speed Reader-X is designed to make learning speed reading fast and easy. The system consists of 10 lessons. The lesson objective is explained before the lesson begins. You then practice the lesson using the software. As your eyes scan the text on the screen you are un-learning bad habits and learning new, good habits. You click the Next button, words flash and you begin to quickly overcome the roadblocks you were taught in school.

I never thought of to learn to speed read before, until recently I read an article with title "Are you reading with a little voice in your brain now? You are actually reading at a first grade level…" I look for products around to learn to speed read, that's why I come to Speed Reader X. Here are the pros and cons for the product in my opinion:
Pros:
- Much cheaper than similar products in the market.
- Has been launched for a few years and undergone 10 version upgrades, thus it is tweaked for user experience.
- Has already a customer base, and has been used in some colleges and organizations, so it is a mature product and not like those buggy ones.
Cons:
- Some part of the system may not work on MACOSX.
