Die Outlook Tools bietenleistungsstarke Funktionen für Outlook. Vor allem wenn Sie Outlook mit einem Handy oder PDA synchronisieren, werden sie diese Funktionen lieben. Sie können Duplikate bereinigen, die Telefonnummern in das internationale Format bringen und die Nachrichtenklasse ändern. Die Duplikate können in Email-, Kontakt-, Kalender-, Aufgaben-, und Notizen-Ordnern gesucht werden. Die Suche ist auch ordnerübergreifend möglich. Alle Suchkriterien können individuell eingestellt werden. Exklusiv: Welches Element bei der Duplikatsuche beibehalten werden soll, kann mit folgenden Optionen eingestellt werden: Bevorzugter Ordner, Terminserie oder Eintragsdatum des Elements. Die Telefonnummern werden anhand einer Vorwahlendatenbank analsyiert und in das internationale Format gebracht. Dabei werden weit über 200 Ländervorwahlen und 17000 Ortvorwahlen erkannt. Die alte schweizer Vorwahl 01 kann dabei in die neue Vorwahl 044 umgewandelt werden und die Faxnummern im Adressbuch versteckt werden. Alle Änderungen an den Telefonnummern können zu jeder Zeit rückgängig gemacht werden.
