Flash Forensic Short Description:

|
Flash Forensic Long Description:
Flash Retriever - Flash Media Data Recovery Software is a powerful, easy to use file recovery tool which provides data recovery from damaged or defective Flash Memory Cards. Even if your flash media has been formatted, Flash Retriever can bring your memories back to life! Accidentally deleted files can also be easily recovered. There are limits to what can be recovered if additional pictures are saved or files are written, so it is important to stop using the media until the pictures or files are recovered. If you have lost precious pictures or irreplaceable files on any type of flash media, Flash Retriever can recover them in a few quick and easy steps. No Technical Knowledge is Required.
Unlike other software advertised on this site, this program only operates on Windows 2000 and Windows XP. If you are interested in a Windows 98/Windows Me version, please contact our sales staff.
Flash Retriever recovers pictures, movies and sounds from
SmartMedia™ Memory Stick™ CompactFlash™ xD Picture Card™ all other flash memory cards (e.g., pen drives, thumb drives) Sony Mavica camera floppy diskettes More device support.
Zip drives and other removable media devices are supported in addition to flash media. Sector display.
The contents of individual sectors on the media can be examined. Image copy.
The contents of any media can be copied to a file for analysis. MD5 hashing of the media contents.
This can be compared to the hash value of the image file to insure no changes have been made.
Nearly all cameras come with cables to connect to a computer, but some cameras do not present the flash media as a removable hard drive. If the program does not show your flash media when the camera is connected, an external reader is required. Readers are widely available for all media types - please check with your local computer or office products store.
